    Highly recommend 7W Duel. Was the game that got me into board games and I really lucked out because it's still one of the best 2 player games.

          We got the 7W [edit: 7W Duel***] Pantheon expansion, Santa Monica (pretty average, wouldn't really recommend), Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle (absolutely love it, if either of you like HP you'll really enjoy it), Viticulture (good for 2 people, and we play it with other couples), and Codenames Duet.

          I've been looking at Cascadia and Parks too, but I also need to reign myself in.

            @BearDaBest: Nice choices. Viticulture is a good one and you should look at the Tuscany expansion for the improved board. I've been eyeing Cascadia as well and have failed my attempts to reign in purchases this year.

            @BearDaBest: my wife and i love 7WD and Everdell. I can highly recommend Wingspan, Patchwork and Sagrada for 2P. Twilight Struggle is amazing but a bit heavy, and we love Scythe and Tapestry, but while they're good for 2P, they're much better with 4.
            So many great games out there. 😁

      My favourite 2 player game. Unfortunately it's extremely cut throat to the extent I can't really play it with my wife. That said we're very competitive people.

      Gotta balance out the $200+ game and the Dodgy seller today, plus this is an awesome game to get people sucked into Board Games and will hopefully steer people to their local.

      Also, I have 28 degrees price protection so I supported MY local shop :)

    The app version of this game is also very well made and easy to play (Android). I stopped playing with the actual board game after installing the app.

      It's also great to play on board game arena.

      I really don't know if I need the hard copy as we already play on board game arena. But this could be good for camping or black outs!

    Superb 2 player game and a great way to wrap your head around the basic concepts of it's big brother, 7 Wonders, which IMHO is the Best Board game outright.

    One of the best 2 player games! If you don't want to bother playing with another person, it can be played solo as well. Not as much fun, but still something..
