      81% off RRP, updated title

It is deceptive and misleading to advertise price comparison to RRP when you have not recently been selling them for RRP.

Read up on the ACCC laws.

Your recent selling price was $41.60

I have amended the item title and description, it wasn't our intention to mislead anyone,

We only wanted to highlight the great deal we have on offer,

Misleading discount aside, I'd be curious if anyone has used one of these for their dog and if they liked it. Could be a nice to have for my husky come summer time

    • +1

Myself and other family members have used these quite a bit and they are great for our dogs,

You can definitely tell the difference if you touch it

    • +3

I'd be curious if anyone has used one of these for their dog and if they liked it.

Aldi sell these for a similar price each year coming into summer.

It seems to work well if you touch it, but our dog never used it. Prefers the lawn.

      • +1
        • The Aldi version is smaller, the Squirt is 70cm x 110cm, the Aldi version is 90cm x 60cm

    • +1

I have one (different brand) and while you can definitely feel the difference in temp, the dog doesn't really use it.

    • I had a couple a few years ago (different brand,) to try to ease some pressure on big dog joints in a house with hard floors.
The ones we bough smelled really plasticky and needed about a week outside to air before use. The mats work, but the dogs were never that interested in using them. For a cooling effect, my dogs would just sprawl on tiles or floorboards before they'd go near these.

    • We bought one for our border collie a few years ago. Every summer we bring it out, and every summer she puts one paw on it and backs away slowly. Obviously there's something about the gel that she doesn't like. Waste of money for us!

  • Does this work for cats?

    • Yes it does, as soon as anything touches it, the gel activates and cools instantly,

    • +2

81% of cats surveyed, said they were too cool already.

      • 81% of cats surveyed, said they were too cool already.

100% of cats surveyed responded with “(profanity) off”.

I have the same dog as in the picture, 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs and can confirm that they will rather lay on tiles or concrete than anything else.

  • Pet Station doesn't have free ship, even we spent a lot of money.
I also found that they don't answer any questions, I sent 2 emails to them to ask about something, no one replies me.

    • Can you please email us your details? We answer all emails / enquires daily, I apologise that you haven't received a response,

      • I submitted 2 enquiries from this link: https://www.petstation.com.au/contact/
        And no one answered me.

        • -1

I've checked the emails and there is none that we haven't answered

      • And most of other pets shop can deliver if we spend above an amount, or free ship to metropolitan region. But PetStation ALWAYS charges for delivery fee.

Secondly, PetStation is selling more expensive. Example: BURGESS EXCEL JUNIOR & DWARF RABBITS NUGGETS W/ MINT 4KG
        - $50.82 https://www.petstation.com.au/burgess-excel-junior-dwarf-rab…
        - $31.50 https://www.petcircle.com.au/product/burgess-excel-rabbit-nu…
        - $49.95 https://www.budgetpetproducts.com.au/product/burgess-excel-n…

Last, PetStation doesn't have a support channel, send enquiry, but not answer. There's no live chat.

I found that PetCircle is better, cheaper price, and it's cheapest price guarantee, there's a live chat that they can adjust the price if we chat to them saying that we found a cheaper price somewhere else.

        • We would love to beat everyone on everything if we could, the item you have linked I have changed the price of this one as it is not priced correctly as per our strategy.

Pet Circle sell that item at our cost price. As Pet Circle is more known than us they sell more, lowering their cost prices,

In regards to the support channel we don't have livechat as we don't have enough employees to handle as we have 5 and Pet Circle has 400+

We respond to every question we receive, I couldn't find any messages from you,

We are more than happy to match the price at a competitors website if we can though if its below our cost price is for feasible for us to do so,

I hope this clears some of your statements above,

          • @PetStation: I agree with your the PetCirle sell more, then they can have a lower price.

But as customer's perspective, we don't care if PetStation or PetCircle sell more, right? We only do care if which one is selling cheaper and better customer service.

So if you want to get customers from other sites, you should do something. Instead of just putting products in your websites, and hope that some customers will buy from you. By this way, you can only get some customers, the others will not buy from you. And you know, in some days, your current customers realise that they are buying more expensive, what will they do? Of course, they will not buy from you any more.

I just want to share you my opinion, as a customer's point of view, we don't care about which one sell more or sell less, or which one has more employees or less employees. We do care only about the price, quality and customer service.

Forgive me if I say something that you don't like.
