Considering the modest size & weight of the box,
I consider $40 shipping to be outrageous.

These guys seem to be playing the eBay game of
splitting the cost into 2 parts, & adding some
one part to the actual shipping cost.

    My 2.2 cents.

Your thoughts seem to have 0.2 cents shipping attached ;)

      • +2

0.2 is GST added to 2cents. Shipping cost was not included. ;)

    • considering i had a set of much heavier philips shaver shipped from US for just under $25, $40 from anywhere else is a rip off!

    • I consider $40 shipping to be outrageous.

Gets worse. They charge $70 delivery for a $400 Canon/Nikon SLR camera body.

    • they put a part of the price to the shipping so it will be less fee's by ebay

just for example if I sell a 90$ item , ebay would take off % on the 90$ for the fee for posting the item, if I put 50$ on item and 40$ on shipping ebay would charge only a % for the 50$ some people put everything on the shipping charge to avoid the fees

      • this is a breach of Ebay rules, i.e they're dodgey

Yep, I would not buy on principle here. Being the shipping cost is ridiculously high.

    • see my post above

  • 3.0 inch screen? I think my Ericcson T10 had a larger display!

    • +1

Your t10 was black & white, and you obviously overstate the size of a lot of things !

  • Which 3G bands does it cover? Chatandvision says quadband (it's not), but which version is it? 900/2100 or 850/2100?

    • +2

with sony's model naming convention, the 'i' indicates the 900/2100Mhz version. 'a' is for the 850/2100Mhz version.

    $40.00 shipping no way

  • Cost of shipping is irrelevant……

    what's the bottom line cost?
Is it cheaper than anywhere else?

    Product A From Abc.com…. $1 + $50 shipping
    Product A From Xyz.com…. $55 + free shipping

    Which is the better bargain?

    • yes irrelevant but only if nothing happens, as soon as you hit any issue w warranty, repair, exchange, refund etc… you will get significantly less… :(

  • Available apps are determined by screen size, does this phone get some apps restricted?

  • +2

Lol $40 for this It better be deliverd by a pigeon that talks and you get to keep him/her so you can sell it on eBay.. No pigeon no deal.

  • I double posted, sorry.

Ahh the old shipping scam. Would be a good bargain if they weren't using cheap eBay tactics.
