Decent deal - it’s bigger than the similar one at Kmart that sells for $39. Personally I like the ones that blend in with living room decor than ones with kids characters etc, but those are more expensive.

    • I think based on some of the kmart reviews these are tougher, so worth the extra $$$ for me

    • Yeah, that's fair. I actually would've been happy with the Kmart ones but steered clear after seeing the negative reviews (mats falling apart from baby's scratching). Other patterned playmats were closer to $200 so settled for this one.

      • That’s interesting, I do have a Kmart one but it’s in a lightly used area and it’s been fine. My kid doesn’t scratch it though. There’s also one that gets a fair workout in a play area at my work which has been fine 🤷‍♀️ But yeah I agree the fancy $200 ones are way too expensive. We have an Ikea gym mat which I made a washable fabric cover for, it’s good but a bit more effort. The deal you posted is definitely a good one.

    Thanks OP - got 2!

Thank you. Ordered one. My bub is feeding floor every meal time.

  • No free shipping with Club Catch which sucks

Trust me this is a bargain. These and dwingler are the best by far. You'd know by just touching them.

    Thanks giving it a go

If this is the same material as the dwingler ones, it's a bargain. If so, definitely get it if you have a little one on the way.

Thanks OP! I hope its the same material as Dwingler. I bought this one as a spare :)

  • Does the first column of squares really just get cut off like that?

Shipping is $14.95 to Sydney metro, is it because I'm buying two?

    • +1

      Yes

    • They're pretty heavy

  • If it really was $159 then it's definitely the good mats. Trust me I've had mine for 3 years and it's still in very good condition and it's been used like crazy

Thanks OP, bought two! Told my home manager that I managed to secure two quality play mats with heavy discount, and she said we already have 2, and I said we should thank OZB that we now have 4!!

    • Looks the same to me. Thanks for the tip, stacked with Commbank Little Birdie voucher (spend $50 save $20) so got it for $59 c&c.

Big W Sesame Street mat was awesome . They no longer stock it!! I got one for 39!!

thanks op! got one for $29 (after $30 off on $50+ spend from afterpay referral)

  • It arrived today. It is not same quality as the Munchkin and Bear one we have at home. It is so much lighter and plastic-y.

I’d say its RRP should be $60. No one’s going to pay $160 for it.

    • Glad I didn't get it. Got the cheaper Disney fold up one for $25 delivered. Comes with a toy car as well. Not Dwingler quality but thick enough and good for the price

    • Would you say it's similar to the kmart one? Like a foam material as opposed to a rubbery material…thanks.

      • +1

It is closer to a foam than a rubber.
I’ll have to see it’s durability over the best few weeks.
We have a baby and a dog. They are handy to test products’ durability.

        • Thanks! Tossing up btw this & the kmart one for the grandparents' place.

  • Ordered early on but just received notification of order cancellation
