    $286 delivered on amazon…

  • Agree that they're great. Very comfy. Not the best noise cancellation but better sound and fit than the Sony's. Prefer the Bose's that I bought after I left the case for these on a train and was going to have to pay 150 for a replacement case - so be careful!

    • How are they for working out? Reckon better than Sonys. I been looking at the XM4s

      • i wear these daily to the gym. enable noise cancellation and you dont hear much, just the music playing
i also own some powerbeats which are a stark reference for me, they have zero noise cancellation, so i hear evrything in my near surrounding area, machines, ppl talking, weights dropping, but they cling on to my ear and are less prone to falling out when jogging.

      • I only have the xm3s so can't compare - sorry :(

  • How's the mic quality?

Interested to know too. v1 mic was baaadd.

      • Kills it compared to most others… for this price - if your thinking, yes, no, maybe so…
        I can 100% without a doubt say - GET THE FU($ers!!!

I have 8 pairs of (various) headphones. As an TW IE, these are F'ing brilliant and I'm a super fuzzy 3@stard.. However, *** my ears love them, doesn't mean yours will.

If i was critical in any capacity, they can be a little 'harsh' and 'aggressive' at times, but not quiet to the degree of a Soundpeat H1 (which I also love - they are my 'banger' IE's.) I still use my old Bose (wired) IE2's and Love the AKG's that come with the Samsung Note 20s and Note 10.
And when im at my desk, the Oppo HA and PM's come out, or if alone and no one around, the desktop DAC with Sennheiser HD's. But they are all very different devices for different applications to the TWM2.

The beauty of the TWM2 is Sennheiser have also developed a pretty good app for your phone (sadly not for PC though - damn you Sennheiser, create a DT app too would you!) and one can use various sound/tone adjustments as needed.

I'd have liked a slight increase in the noise cancelling ability - but a large portion of this issue which a lot of people complain about can be overcome with a good fit and change in rubbers. Noise isolation is just as important (if not more so) to that of cancelling via electronics for a headphone like this.

Also, I'm a little crazy when I get into a much loved track and want to hear it until my ears bleed! (well almost). I'd have liked a little more volume headroom, perhaps another 5-10%, but thats me clearly wanting to be a deaf #@5tard before I'm 50.. :(

In short… trial them if you can, otherwise, thinking about getting them - get to JB or Amazon already and go get some!!!

  • Let you know once I get mine delivered

Great earphones but worth noting they’ve been cheaper than this. $240 at JB from memory.

Was $249 or lower last prime day and $299 has been the price at JB for at least a month ago

  • I got these awhile ago quite a bit cheaper at Amazon…. but they are amazing. I previously had the Samsung ones… but these are great… mostly with this style you can't make phone calls.. but these do a reasonable job of that as well.

  • I have the V1, the housing is quite big so my ear canals get hurt after an hour of wearing them
Sound quality is just ok, nothing spectacular about them. I got the v1 for $99 so it was good value

    • The default neutral setting is a bit bland but through the app you can adjust the EQ to get the best sound out of them (for instance I have set mine as Bass 3dB / Mid -5dB / Treble 1dB).

Also how the earbuds sits in your ears matters a lot as well so taking a couple of seconds initially to adjust it while playing a track really helps (also try the other earbud tip sizes provided to find the best one for your ears).

For mine they sound absolutely awesome great all-rounder.

  • have this one, they are amazing, worth the price

I also have a set, I got them in addition to the Samsung Buds+ I already owned, expecting them to be fairly similar but for $250 I thought it was worth a go. Sound-wise they're superb, I prefer them over the Samsung's, but not enough to justify paying twice as much IMO. However, that's not why they've completely replaced the Buds+. There are two reasons for that. 1) the interface of the Buds+ drove my up the wall - I listen to 2+ hour DJ sets, not individual tracks, and if I ever need to pull them out, adjust them, or tap them to start or stop playback, I frequently accidentally double-tap, causing it to skip to the next track. Even knowing how sensitive they were and being extremely careful every time I reached up to them, about a quarter of the time I'd accidentally double-tap them and want to rip them out and throw them down the street.

The TW2 don't do that - you can easily adjust them or pull them out without risking touching the tap surface. I haven't yet accidentally double-tapped the left bud and skipped to the next track.

The second benefit is ambient audio pass-through - with a double-tap of the right bud, the TW2 use their mics to pick up and amplify ambient sounds, so you can have conversations without having to remove them. If you wear them while shopping and you need to speak to the occasional cashier, I find this extremely convenient - I don't have to take them out and hold them in my hand while I talk to anyone, they can stay where they are and I can hear close to perfectly well.

As a full comparison, the TW2 aren't comprehensively better than the Buds+ - Samsung has the upper hand in terms of mic pickup when taking calls, the Buds+ are significantly clearer for people to hear you when you're wearing them. I never had complaints when using the Buds+, yet I get them all the time when using the TW2. They're still usable, but make you harder to hear, which is a huge shame in such an expensive ear bud from a company with so much experience in the audio field.

The Buds+ are also superior when it comes to Bluetooth connection quality - the TW2 will suffer from 2.4GHz radio frequency noise such as in an area highly saturated by wifi signals, causing them to drop in and out, where the Buds+ will keep on working without skipping a beat in the same environment tested against the same phone.

If I could combine Samsung's Bluetooth and mic quality with the design and interface of the TW2, that would be my favourite bud. As it is, I have to accept the TW2 can't do everything perfectly, but it doesn't drive me up the wall using it, and for that I've settled on them for my daily use. I will reach for the Buds+ if I know I'm going to need to talk on the phone, but then I'll pop them back in the case and swap to the TW2.

    Highly recommended.

Great feedback. This is what our community is about. Cheers

    • Awesome write up. I'm surprised you have to adjust the Buds+ & have a double tap issue when doing so considering you have two touch sensitive areas, one on the face (play/pause etc) & the other on the outer body (volume +/-). I've never had that same issue when adjusting, taking them out, or placing back by pinching/grabbing onto the outer body. Now I've had that same specific issue with the Buds Live which is definitely frustrating, so much so I've switched touch controls off on them. I find I've barely ever had too adjust the Buds+ while the Buds Live I generally do every time I wear them.

  • I have one of these and I honestly would never use it for watching video on my iphone. The latency is noticable, about 1 second, when watching youtube. It’s just painful experience. Great for musics though.

  • How do these fare in windy environment when audio passthrough is enabled? I like having earpods in when riding my bike, audio passthrough lets me be aware of traffic - but on my current Jabra's the wind noise is horrendous and overpowers any music im trying to listen to

    Cheers
