Got an email last night inviting me to upgrade my QFF Premium to the QFF Ultimate card.

As a valued Card Member, you’re invited to apply to upgrade to the Qantas American Express Ultimate Card and enjoy 40,000 bonus Qantas Points when you’re approved and spend $3,000 in the first 3 months.

Not as good as last month's offer, but still decent if you don't want to sit out Amex's 18 month cooling off period.

Looking at last month's comments, Amex seem to honour it even if you don't receive the email 1 2

Can't seem to find an expiry date on the offer.

  FWIW, I think this deal is ok but not great compared to previous Amex upgrade offers - so I'll pass on this and wait for next month's or January's in a hope that they revert to the previous (60k + $200 back) offer, otherwise I'll probably cancel my card in January and restart my 18 month cooling off period.
