DUPE DUPE DUPE they scream - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/66409 - The original listing is for iOS only.

The developers website actually states the sale is across other platforms, not just iOS.

It can also be downloaded from GetJar here for free but with a downside of no future updates.

Google Play version has a 4.3/5 star rating, so it seems a reasonable deal.

Yeah, when I was posting I saw that the iOS version had been listed, but figured it was worh posting the Android sale separately as many Android users may miss it due to the specific title of the other post (listing off all the iProducts).

Also, cheers for the heads up about GetJar, that site looks awesome!

Much higher votes here. This just proves the power of android over apple

I promptly ignore anything with ipad/iphone in title. So this was a nice heads up for us Android users. Thanks

Worse, I use the "Hide from Listing" feature to block all iTunes deals as they aren't relevant to me. One of those rare occasions were one could miss out. gasp!

      • After reading this I tried to as well.
How does one 'hide' all itunes for example?
        Thanks

Already have Kingsoft Office (which is free all the time for some reason) but can only try out this one too.

  • Thanks, wouldn't have realised it was for Android even if I had somehow seen the iOS post :P Good deal, haven't used the software but it seems to get good reviews.

  • It's a great program - connect straight to googledocs. Get it legally for free in Getjar.

  • This is definitely the best of all the Office apps I've tried for Android (including KingSoft, QuickOffice, ThinkFree… haven't tried Polaris, since it's not for individual sale). It's certainly far from perfect, but it's at least usable.

Polaris on my SGS2 is unusable. As soon as I try to type anything, it just does a bunch of wwwwwwwwwwww or qqqqqqqqqqqqqqq and when I try to delete that or type another word, it just does it even more.
Whatever I had on my SGS1 was better but I hardly used it.

      This looks promising. Thanks.

  • How do you guys rate this against QuickOffice Pro and Kingsoft Office?

Tried QO - like it very much, but not willing to pay the price.
Kingsoft Office - feels like hacked apps to read/edit Office docs, and not really sure about privacy knowing it is free apps and the maker origin (not trying to say anything here, just bad feeling…)

  • Wow amazing el cheapo you saved everyone 1400% :D

    • +6

You mean 93%. If we were saving 1400%, they would be paying us each $194.35 to download the app ;)

Has anyone seen a good deal on a calculator?

  • Looks expired now? it's showing as $9.06…

    • Thanks, changed to expired… looks like their normal price of $14.95 was BS!
