Eero doesn't have speakers nor a microphone. This is the reason I went for the Google Nest system. We had no smart speakers in the house previously, so seemed like a good option.
Very happy with our 3 pack so far. Covers all of our house and yards. An unexpected bonus was when using a microwave, it doesn't impact Wi-Fi speeds (that we can tell anyway), whereas every other router we've had got severely slowed. Could just be most new routers fix that problem now?

Does anyone know what the BLE (bluetooth) function on google nest wifi is for? It's not zigbee compatible, so can you pair other BLE smart home devices?
No Wifi 6 on Google Nest Wifi.
BLE is to assist with setup and for future compatibility with the Matter connectivity standard.
nest wifi is not wifi6 which is probably the biggest detractor for it right now. I have a single router at home and need more coverage but Im struggling to justify buying the 3 point because it isn't wifi6
I think BLE is for other Nest devices maybe? Ive never used it tbh
eero looks good with wifi6, though there are some mixed reviews from what Ive seen. Plenty of people love it but Ive read a few reviews of people saying how hot they get and patchy coverage - problem with wifi is you dont know if its the product or the environment they are in. If the eero pro was available here I'd give that a look maybe
Both come with their own privacy concerns if you're privacy minded being Google and Amazon owned
IMO home wifi options aren't that great right now, if you need more than a single point

Great price for these. I have been using a 2-pack for a couple of years now and it is the most stable wifi I have ever used. The range is great. Covering a two story house and backyard with a 2-pack. Being able to control the kids' access through the app and schedules is fantasic. I just wish there was a web interface so that you could access settings through a PC.
Any deals for another single Extender Point?
I love this product but got 1 room that would really benefit from the extra coverage & speaker
