You need have access to Samsung Education Store. To get this, add a student email to your Samsung account or create a new one with a student email.

You need to SUBSCRIBE to the newsletter to get the $50 voucher. Many people have trouble with this because Samsung often just don't send the email. Subscribe then email Samsung straight away.

I sent this to them at [email protected] and was successful in getting the $50 voucher:

"Hi,
Hope you are having a good day :)
I subscribed to your newsletter (with the $50 voucher offer) a few days ago and tried signing up again today. I still haven't received a newsletter or voucher in my inbox/junk/spam/promotions etc…
Can I please kindly request the $50 voucher be sent to me?

    External Memory (MicroSD up to 1TB), B28, 3.5mm Jacked, NFC (with Samsung Pay), IP67 & a 4500 mAh battery with 25W charging. Seems like this phone ticks almost all the boxes. Not sure if it’s dual sim and doesn't state the warranty period (guessing 2 years), but it sure is great value.

      Single SIM. Unsure on warranty but it has OS updates until Android 14 and four years of security updates too.

        2-year warranty on phones. Not sure why they don't list it in the specs, but anyway. 4-years of security updates is extremely kind of them.

          2year is a gamechanger. I've used it twice for myself and once for my parents. Gives the phone a fresh start with new battery (and twice a new screen) on month 23 of its life if you are looking to pass down or sell.

  • Was very briefly on sale at Amazon today for 409 but has now gone back up. Didn't even think of the edu store because I was still waiting for the voucherlol

    If you have access to employee discount, it's still available at the same price and can use the $50 voucher.

  • These are a lot of phone for the money. If you're picky about haptics give this a miss though - the vibration motor very sluggish and cheap feeling. I had a play with one in JB and it doesn't feel quite as butter smooth as the S20FE either - some lags here and there, but that might have just been the display unit.

  • What a terrible website and attempted purchase experience.

    Firstly, I had to email their support team as I did not receive the voucher within 48 hours of signing up.

    Then, I tried to place an order, but was unable to add the desired colour (violet) to the cart. So I contacted their online live chat, and was told to clear my browser cache, or try a different browser (neither worked).

    I then tried to call their service centre, and was told to call back later.

    Be better Samsung.
