    Telstra will tell you that you cannot get esim with prepaid.

    But you can convert it to esim after activation through your mytelstra app. You will need to have a Telstra account.

    Proof- i have done it and I am currently on an esim.

  I am currently with Telstra on a prepaid 365 day plan that is to expire within the next 14 days. Can I purchase this product and not have to port to another provider to be able to use this? The porting piece all sounds a bit hard.

    Yes you can. Go in store and they will cancel your current sim and activate the new sim with your existing number.

  Sorry, if you are on Telstra then you need a recharge voucher, not a sim.
