I can be your best man for $99 black friday special (usually RRP $495)

  • +11

    Thanks, ordered 10.

    • +5

      10 wifes or 10 ceremonies

      • +1

        Both :)

  • +9

Any bargain wifes here … lets get married and we can go halvies on this deal

  • +4

Wow, even at the regular price, that’s a lot of work and a lot of inclusions. Are most marriage celebrants at that price level in your area?

    • +5

Seriously OP, this isn’t sustainable. You’ll regret this price, if you sell any.

      • $99 for under an hours work…just need to carry a Bluetooth speaker and a mic…better money than I'm on. …
I also don't own a Month Blanc pen.. lol at that bit!

        • If you think all of this can be done in 1 hour of work, you are delusional.

          • +1

@GG57: Literally says "around 25 mins'. But reality is it's about 15mins + 10 min setup. Add another 30 mins for rehersal etc. If you can get 3+ weddings in the same area on the same day.. happy times. Good ole fashion economies of scale. Plus this might just be a side hustle on weekends.

Don't get me wrong. Weddings are usually a license to print cash. So this is a good deal. In the scheme of a wedding - celebrant $100.. take it. As for not sustainable…unlikely. Good on the op for putting in the effort to earn a buck in these strange times.

            • @tunzafun001: You have listed what happens at the ceremony on the day; what about these other inclusives:
Unlimited consultation by phone, email or in-person
One face to face meeting before the ceremony
Lodging the Notice of Intended Marriage
Completion and lodging of all legal forms to BDM (Births, Deaths, and Marriage)
Creation and scripting of ceremony for your approval and input
Help with or writing your marriage vows
Any rituals, from cultural to popular (can help with suggestions)

And, travel to and from the ceremony site

    • +1

With respect to OP, that is a reasonably standard offering in terms of services from a wedding celebrant.
This is a good (discounted) price, but there are lots of celebrants whose RRP is not as high as OP's RRP.

curious to why the price changes (regular non black friday costs) for more guest when the inclusions are the same and its not including a venue or food or any sort of variable costs?

  • +1

I love this bit of the inclusions: "Any rituals, from cultural to popular (can help with suggestions)" i can think of some "rituals" i would pay $99 to see someone do 😜

  • +1

Doesn't matter if you get a bargain wedding … marriage is never a bargain !
