Black Friday and Cyber Monday haven't even started yet! I feel like there's a little more fat to trim off that price though… 🤔

      • If there's enough stock by the time black friday and Cyber Monday arrives

The Deals that have began now should not go any lower - if they do we have our 60 Day Price Promise where we will refund 120% off the difference*. Stock is the biggest issue at the moment we currently have a handful of the 55's and the 65's will be taken offline if we receive too many more backorders. - Malcolm

          • @Retravision: Currently on back order, any idea on the current wait time?

            • @Bargearse: The Latest Update from LG is 6-7 Weeks for the 65" into WA if no delays occur. If you are in another state please message us or email us your postcode through to [email protected] and we can check if we can deliver out of another WH. - Malcolm

          • @Retravision: Any deals coming for the G1 models?

            • @Eyetie: Currently it does not appear that we will have the G1 Series on sale for Black Friday, if you would like to message us or email you postcode through to [email protected] with the specific model that you are interested in we can see if we can do a deal for you along with delivery etc. - Malcolm

          • @Retravision: Why is that, Malcolm?

By the time Black Friday is over, if you’re on OZB and don’t have a C1, did you even visit this site?

    • +2

Don't the conditions for OzBargain membership state you must have some Eneloops and a LG OLED?

      • And the membership card

    • Or true holders who waited too long for a better deal 🤣

    • I went and picked mine up from the good guys today and while I was loading it into the car, 2 others showed up and they wheeled 2 more C1s out lmao

  • HA and I just bought a second-hand CX for $1900. I love it to bits.

  • Anyone happy to help out with a screenshot of the 55in model with the discounted price? Need to do a price protection claim.
    I can't see the $2028 price since I don't have a RAC number.
    Thanks in advance.

    • I’m the same for the 65 if anyone is kind enough to get a screenshot.

      • Or anyone happy to PM us their RAC membership number? I would be happy to do the screenshot myself

    • here's the screenshot for the 55in: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/20978/92535/lg-55in-c1…

sorry, Hughesboy, 65in already sold out so couldn't add it to cart.

  • Not trolling,…..

Is there an OLED TV or retailer etc which offers at least an 8 year warranty on burn in, even if it costs like a thousand more?

Curious, love to get one, one day waiting for Micro led might take ten more years

  • Nice, $450 shipping to Sydney…

  • Oh man I am still holding out, am I likely to get rewarded for my patience or is a deal on an LG C1 that I should take already out there? Was hoping I'd see a cheap tcl c825 at 65 inch during these sales but surprisingly not seeing much right now..

    • +1

I think it is very possible there will be a cheaper deal. Will it be a much cheaper deal? I doubt it. At this point it's likely going to come down to a few tens of dollars difference at most, so if you bought now you shouldn't suffer much price remorse when a deal comes out, say, tomorrow, that is $30 cheaper than todays.

  • Anyone else holding out to see if Sony prices go down to C1 prices by Black Friday? Prices are so good might have to get a C1. 😃

  • Man, I'm so keen to get an OLED but my current TV sits in the living room in an apartment with a big floor to ceiling window almost beside it. And as far as I understand, visibility will be poor due to the brightness, as well as the heat from the direct sunlight may damage the screen.

    • +1

Dude I'm in exactly the same position. I really want one but I just can't see how it's the best idea for those same reasons :(

      • +1

My wife will kill me if I push for having the blinds down for the entire day, lol.

        • +2

How funny, I'm looking at buying the TV because I'm recently single. Buying shiny new things helps, apparently?

          • +1

@BugsBunnyAUS: I've been on the fence for years because I'm a huge tightass and I can get a Ffalcon for 700 bucks… But I bit the bullet and damnnnn, it's definitely worth it! I have it opposite a big window and although it is extremely shiny, it's bright enough to not be a deal breaker (imo anyway), perhaps look into some kind of window UV treatment (tint/film etc.) which could help protect it?

    • Depends if you watch more at night or in the day. Either way you have to take a hit on brightness for OLED or blacks for regular LED. Something like the Samsung Q90A has great blacks but gets worse if you view it on an angle. If you had a high brightness TV then OLED will definitely be a tough sell if you watch mainly in the daytime and if you like sports.
