Centrecom has the 12700KF tray version for $649 if you don't want to deal with cashback / international delivery times and don't care about the integrated graphics.

    • Is KF better? My husband told me to look out for that one, I don't know much enough to compare the specifics

      • I believe the only difference is the integrated graphics.
If you are getting a graphics card anyway, you can just pick whichever is cheaper.

        • Thanks 😊 this is cheaper than the kf so looks like this is it

      • KF is without the integrated graphics

The integrated graphics (the ones without "F") can come in handy if you're ever without a (working) graphics card. Just something to keep in mind. I'd personally never buy an F version Intel CPU (at least for my main rig).

In the current graphics card market, I would strongly recommend you get integrated graphics, my graphics card died about 6 months ago and I would have had to pay 500 bucks for a 5 year old tech or 1000 for current tech if I didn't have integrated graphics. I'm still waiting for something but can still use my computer

            @jsefrog: ^This

My 980ti died a few months back and can't bring myself to pay for over inflated prices on new GPU's. iGPU is a lifesaver otherwise would have had a dead PC.

AMD friend in same situation, had to buy GPU or was a dead weight.

      • It depends, for gaming, you really don't need the integrated graphics. However, people are saying it comes in handy with good reasons:

        • GPU prices are crazy expensive right now.
        • If you don't care about gaming, the integrated graphics included, resolution wise, is pretty decent (up to 8K/60Hz via DisplayPort, 4K/60Hz with HDMI (apparently HDMI 2.1, my guess is that at 4K/60Hz all that means is HDR 4:4:4 is supported BUT good luck finding a HDMI 2.1 monitor that's 4K/60Hz only, HDMI 2.1 monitors would be 4K/120Hz most likely - so $$$). However, the motherboard also need to enable the support for those resolutions on the ports.

For less than $10 difference, you might as well get K version.

    • I just checked again and they are out of stock for now.

    • 12900K tray for $919 on eBay too with the $100 off code (requires Plus).
Stack with discounted gift cards to bring it under $900.

  • What's the cashback happening today?

  • Is this the sort of thing that sells out quickly? My husband keeps jumping on me to get these (an aorus pro as well) because he keeps saying it ll sell out quickly, but the one I'm watching on the website hasn't sold any for a few days. Tossing up if I should wait until actual Black Friday..

    • Probably not the i7. Most people probably would go for either the i5 or the i9 I think. DDR5 and the motherboard aren't cheap either.

      • Yeh lots of ddr5 motherboards but no ram so he's going for the DDR4 version
