  • Notable purchases (if you pirate games like I do, this is mostly multiplayer/online games)

Mass Effect 3 Digital Deluxe Edition - $49.975
    Battlefield 3 - $39.995
Back to Karkand Expansion - $11.975
Star Wars The Old Republic - $44.995
    Some game timecards

I'd be buying SWTOR on an impulse if it wasn't for the bad reviews it got, after all that hype.

      • Well that means my post is redundant. Sorry, didn't want to miss out on being the first 1000 by reading the fineprint.

Looks like I didn't miss out on much though :( Still, I guess it's a good deal if you like to legally buy/download your games.

        EDIT: After more searching;

Kingdoms of Amalur (the website shows a discounted price, despite wisc's comment) - $39.99

That exclusion list is a flapping joke, another fail from EA.

    • TOR isn't actually bad. It has teething problems like any other MMO, but there are plenty of things it does even better than WoW (single player stories especially)

Do you believe what you are doing is ethical? Not pointing any fingers, just curious about how you believe only pirating the single-player games affect other people.

      • +2

I don't think he/she really cares. I certainly don't. Note that I don't pirate games any more, but not for any sort of ethical reason. It just isn't worth the messing around if you can buy them for $10 in sales etc.

Just realised nearly everything I wanted, I already got for free during that BOGOF system error, and I filled the rest up with Amazon Daily Deals… and ME3 for $50 is still one spicy meatball.

  • Sims 3 is $40… Apply the code, now its 50% off at $39.99! :S

Even with a working discount, it's STILL origin.

You will be paying higher prices in the long term by supporting EA. Their record of unrealistic prices for AU customers is well proven.

  • +3

Bah, 50% off crap is still crap.

  • +1

    Shame about the exclusions

  • Pretty much everything is still more expensive than Amazon digital download.

    Pirating use to be cool,
like back when i had an Atari ST in the 1980's !!!!!

I used to pirate games, then I bought a PS3 and started playing MAG, haven't looked at another game since :D

      • :o

I have 250 hours gameplay in BF3 online + gameplay in unranked

        Haven't even finished campaign yet.
