    Cheaper pretty much everywhere… this price is extremely average. Was $255 a few days back, I'd expect even lower deals across Black Friday and through to Boxing Day.

  Question - Is this overkill for Xbox Series X external. I have one of these, and a non-neutered Intel SD550.

  Need to sell one. Obviously the Samsung is the better drive, but does it actually make any difference with this use case?

  I've seen the DF (and other) breakdowns, which would suggest the slower drive is perfectly fine. Are people finding this to be the case?

    I think it would be, the USB port would bottleneck the NVMe drive. Better to get a decent SATA SSD and enclosure

    the Max speed on series X usb ports is 5Gbit/s or 625MB/s, so yes it's overkill.
