          • @Solosurf: Thank you - would you mind sharing the screenshot in case there are any issues as I did the same thing?

  • Is there a way to know if it our transaction was eligible?

      1. How do I know that I qualified for the offer?
The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who successfully redeem the offer will receive a confirmation email within 7 business days of their order being processed. This email will be sent to their registered email address.

I've just confirmed with the rep via chat that mixed payment using gift cards and MasterCard is not eligible even though MasterCard payment is over $50.

    • Thanks just wanted this clarity

    • What about promo credit + MC?

  • Placed order!

  • This was good timing. A friend wanted me to purchase a deal with my prime membership. I now get $10 for my troubles!

  • Does anyone know whether the Logitech MX anywhere mouse in this deal be eligible? It's sold via Amazon UK hence the question. Thanks in advance.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/666356

    • I have the same question. and I used a master debit card too

  • There's no indication at checkout that your purchase is eligible?

  • +1

    got this from Amazon CS

"Gift card are not eligible for it you need to purchase an item sold and shipped by Amazon AU"
"It says item sold and shipped by Amazon AU. gift card is just transfer of money from bank account to Amazon account"
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. both the Gift cards are not eligible If you can I can cancel your Gift card order now"

    • +2

      very poor customer service. inconsistent

    • That is not an accurate description of how a physical gift card from Amazon works, the CS agent must be confused about what was purchased

      • +3

        It was barely legible english

      • In the beginning, I told him it is a physical gift card with the order shown. Then he said "Gift card are not eligible for it you need to purchase an item sold and shipped by Amazon AU. It says item sold and shipped by Amazon AU. gift card is just transfer of money from bank account to Amazon account". Then I reminded him it was a physical gift card instead of an e-gift card which will be posted to my physical address and then he replied "I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused. both the Gift cards are not eligible If you can I can cancel your Gift card order now"

Good news: The previous response was from Amazon CS Mohammed. And just now I got confirmation from Amazon CS Ann saying Mohammed was wrong. I will be eligible for a physical gift card payment. And She will follow up in case I don't receive the $10 bonus after 7 days.

Thanks! That's great - if you have a screenshot of that or similar to share that would be great

  • thanks for sharing, looks like a good deal.

  • I made a purchase, I had $10 credit applied but I bought up to $70. So hopefully it still works, I’ll report back in 7 days

  • oh f me..i paid with amex and not even prime member =.=can i get refund for physical gc if unopened?

    • I don't think so

    • +8

How did you f*** it up this bad?

      • +1

        Lmao

      • +2

That's what doing 12 hours shift then stayed up late to buy presses did to you..

P/S did manage to cancel before shipping, so phew

    • Give it a try. I know in the T and C it's say no but I managed to get fullrefund once for a egift card. I made the call just mins after making the error though so I guess you gotta be fast. And have a sympathetic rep.

"4. How do I know that I qualified for the offer?
The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who successfully redeem the offer will receive a confirmation email within 7 business days of their order being processed. "

Does that not seem really dodgy? … You don't have a clue if you'll get the $10 credit until 7 days after you've spent the money?

    • Yeah, definitely left a bad taste in my mouth

  • My prime membership has ended. Might as well restart it just for this deal. The fee for this month will be covered by the bonus.

  • -1

Anyone has any idea if it would have reached 26,000 customers already?

    • +1

I just bought t he physical gift card and got $10 promo credit.

      • O wow. no 7 day wait.
I just bought a card as well. let's see.

        • Yeah, after purchase it led me to a page to claim the credit or expires after 30 days.

          • @Jared17: Did you get an email. I didn't see anything on the order confirmation page.

            • @archieduh: I got email confirmation for the order but not the promo. I already claimed it though. It said something like $10 will automatically deducted for my next eligible purchase.

    • +1

Actually I just realized the $10 offer I got might be for rejoining prime lol. Sorry if I misled, it didn't occur to me as the wording of the bonus didn't specify it was for what reason and I was confused by same $10 offered. Anyway hopefully we still get that $10 lol.

  • No more free trial prime membership offer any more right?

  • +2

I wonder how much credit in everyones Amazon account now!!

    Shopback, Amex, Amazon deal etc…lol!!!!

    • I had +/-$800 before this week started, now I'm down to +/-$650.

    • I recently redeemed all my amex points for Amazon gift cards cos they had that bonus offer, then almost hit 4 digits! O_O
      Now, what to actually buy…

      • +1

yes, that's a hard question, what to buy after all the gift cards are purchased !!! LOL!!

  • I went to use this, and instead for a deal for $20 off for adding a mastercard and using it for the first time? Ended up putting me under the $49 mark, so I guess I'm not getting the $10. Might have to think of another $50 worth of things to buy…

    • +2

I bought this, you can enter custom amount of $49.
Seems like you edited the comment while I was responding, I used this link

Bought a copy of Demon’s Souls for $49 as it got back in stock. Did not want to fiddle with buying a physical gift card and worrying if it qualifies for the $10 gift card. Timing cannot be more perfect.

    • +1

Yeah, timing was shocking for me. I bought Demon's Souls yesterday before this deal was announced. I was going to cancel and reorder, but it was out of stock.

I saw it came back in stock today, I tried to reorder but it wouldn't let me because there's a limit of one per customer.

      • I wanted to order it yesterday and the day before but it was out of stock. It was only when I browse Amazon for what to buy for $50 that I discovered that it went back to stock. Was it in stock yesterday?

I am waiting if Amazon will price match Target’s Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate for $50 but so far the price has not budged.

        • Yeah it came in stock yesterday, so I ordered it, then I saw this deal and went to cancel. Firstly I couldn't even cancel anyway, plus it was out of stock, so I wouldn't have been able to order again.

I could have got on chat and cancelled, but then I didn't know if I'd be able to order again due to the 1 per customer thing. I've had that issue before.

Oh well :) You win some, you lose some

  • so egift card is not eligible ?

    • No, digital goods like egift cards are not eligible.

  • I just bought something using a Mastercard with Prime and over $50, but don't see a $10 gift card.
    Is it over?

    • Read the T&Cs

      1. What is the offer?
The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who, between 26th and 29th November 2021, spend $49 or more on eligible items in a single transaction on Amazon.com.au using an Australian issued Mastercard card, will receive a $10 Amazon.com.au Gift Card, automatically credited to their account within 60 days of the end of the promotional period, for use on a future purchase.

      2. How do I know that I qualified for the offer?
The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who successfully redeem the offer will receive a confirmation email within 7 business days of their order being processed. This email will be sent to their registered email address.

      • Yeah I know there's a wait in the T&Cs which is normally just to cover their arse, just other commenters seemed to be getting a notification instantly.
So wasn't sure if it was normal to not see something straight away.

        • Yeah I was hopeful that it would come through quickly too. I'm having the same experience as you, hopefully it goes through. Will be a shame to hear that I was 26001 :(

          • +1

@Talonparty: you will be eligible as reason is they are STILL ACTIVELY advertising and promoting offer as of 27 Nov 6 pm AEST.

  • Awesome, thanks OP.
Bought the $75 physical gift card and go the bonus $5 as well.
Just hope I manage be one of the first 26,000 customers to nab the $10 gift card.

  • is this still going?

  • If the order includes lightning deal items, will offer still apply? Or disqualified as it is already using an "offer" - lightning deal?

  • So need full amount paid by master card even if I have some credit left?

  • -1

Got my two emails for $10 credit each - this deal and the other one for over $39 (targeted). Bought the gift card tin

    • +1

Are you talking about this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/657804. That one is $10 promo credit.

The $10 in this deal should be a GC shouldn't it?

      • +1

Yes, sorry. Double checked my emails. It’s the promo credit. Haven’t received GIFT CARD for this deal but the fact the other one is paid means it’s an eligible purchase

        • +1

          True that

  • +4

Just purchased a $49 physical GC and paid by using a newly entered Mastercard. I was then able to claim

Congratulations! Your $10 promo credit is ready to be used once your first Prime eligible order dispatches
Don’t wait! Your promo credit expires 30 days after you claim it.
    AUD$ 10.00

So since I was a new Prime member seems like I got this offer

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/657804

Maybe if f I am lucky I will also get this Mastercard offer.

    • -1

may i ask where did you get the notification/confirmation of the $10? in email? or somewhere in amazon?

      cheers

  • How do i know if the cap has been reached already?

    • +1

It’s stupid, you don’t! I can’t believe how many votes this has gotten given how uncertain it is.

  • +4

It is quite annoying without knowing if you're eligible for $10 as one of 26,000, before or even after you pull the trigger.

    • +1

This gets me too….id rather not support them, hence just did ebay this time

  • can I get if I have multiple MasterCards?

    • +1

The answer is in the T&C's

The offer can only be redeemed once per Eligible Customer

    • Maybe if you have another Prime account.

  • Wondering if this works with items shipped from the US. They usually process the order after a week so I don't get charged for it yet. Can see in my bank transactions that it hasn't deducted anything.

  • Where can you even get a debit mastercard? My ANZ, CBA and St George debit cards are all VISA!

  • Are we able to check gift card balance without applying it to our account?

    • Don’t think you can.

      • Ended up having to apply it. The card itself doesn’t show the denomination. Kinda silly oversight

  • Merged from Prime Amazon Mastercard $10 Promotion - Anyone Received The Confirmation Email Yet?

Noticed that the offer has been fully redeemed on Amazon website. When I placed my order on 27/11, the offer page still showed the offer. Has anyone received the confirmation email yet?
