      Yeah I bought one of these about 6 months ago and have that exact problem.

      Not worth my time trying to fix, so will be going to the Good Sammy's.

    I would be more interested, but from memory these take C size batteries. I have rechargeables, but only AA and AAA's. I don't want to buy stuff that requires buying, then chucking batteries anymore.

      Yes you're right. They take C sized batteries. I have rechargeable C size batteries but No charger. I am in search of a C size charger. Any suggestions please?

    Missed out myself, had in cart, but work got in the way before I could complete my order.
