    As far as I know, SoftMed N95 does not have the NIOSH certificate to be a certified N95 mask. It's more like a KN95 or P2 type of mask.

    They are still great masks though and the BFE is on par with P2/FFP2/N95. The only thing missing is a certified NIOSH certificate to make it a real N95. I guess people support Australian-made products and general consumers would not care too much about it lol

    Because these masks uses ear loops rather than head straps like a ‘proper’ N95 mask, has any one put these masks through fit testing and passed? Interested to hear of people’s experience with these masks

      I feel like these can't be true N95s… I'm doubtful you could get as good of a seal with ear loops as you do with head strapped ones. All the different brands of N95s my hospital stock all have head straps to ensure a seal.
