      Yes. Political correctness / Rian Johnson ruined it. Force Awakens kicked off some interesting plot lines, he ruined almost them all. The franchise is basically 2 standalone films with a woke lesson in the middle.

        Force awakens was meh at best. The best modern Star Wars movie was Rogue One and I do have a soft spot for Revenge of the Sith.

        Thank god The Mandalorian exist. Dave Faloni did Luke justice.

  Not well received? Over $1 billion and counting in revenue… I think most other movies would this level of 'failure'.
  Personally I didn't mind it.
