I bought this phone around 10-15 months ago, it's very good, but I suspect getting a cheap S20 FE or something will probably be better if the mid $500's deal is still available, especially since there will be a delta in hardware/software/updates

good phone but feel a bit dated with only 60hz display, pay a bit more to get the oppo find x2 pro might be a better choice

This phone stays at android 10 forever just someone may want to know.

Got this phone over a year now, pretty happy with it except still Android 10 and slightly heavier than most phone, no water resistant. The speed is still fine, screen is good (never has 120hz display before), battery still okay. But there should be better phones around at this prices, this is a 2 years old phone.

Happy with mine but wanted to echo the sentiments of other posters re Android updates, weight and better value to be had elsewhere for longevity.

  • I have the same phone. Would not buy it again. I much prefer the pixel 2xl I had, only problem it had no 5G.
Keep in mind the Oppo is stuck on android 10. No more OS updates . Camera on pixel was way better.

    • My problem with p2xl is the battery never holds. Otherwise I won't change to this Reno. Don't need 5g.

It looks like a bigger and 5G version of the Xiaomi Mi9T Pro - a rare phone without a stupid cutout or notch for the front camera. Only complaint is the Mi9T is too big and this phone is bigger again.

I've been using the Mi9T Pro for a couple of years and still laugh that people just accept a missing part or a hole in the screen or a notch even in a $100 device, let alone something much more expensive.
