    Yes! I bought these recently for my brother-in-law who prefers them over the Archies as the straps are a tighter fit.

  Growing up, a slappa was the derogatory slang term used to describe a girl sleeping around. Throw in the Australian slang use of thong for what other countries call a form of underwear, and you have a very awkward brand name.
