  • I get error message "This code can't be applied to your order."

  • Does anyone know if this has Paddle/kayak activity?

    • Yup it does, I use it for training and it's pretty good. Battery does degrade after a while but after a year or two will still last about 2 days without a charge

      • Thank you! 2 days with GPS? I have a 4 years old 920xt and it last about a week. I
use it only for training which is about 5 hours of gps. I don’t use notifications or any other smart features.

EDIT: it looks battery life is a known issue with Instinct:

        • Yeah to be fair, I use GPS for about 2 hours a day every day which means I go through the charge cycles super quickly anyway which will degrade it even faster as well.

          • @MrSteeze: Ah makes sense. I think I’ll stick with my 920xt for now.

  • I switched from a Galaxy Watch to the Solar version of this. Overall very happy. Only complaint is that my barometer/altimeter doesn't seem to work and garmin support was completely useless, eventually telling me that it really just doesn't work very well in my situation. Every day my watch reports that I've climbed/descended hundreds of flights of stairs. Something to do with it supposedly being breezy where I take my daily (flat) walks.
