Saw it this morning at Costco Marsden Park, not sure if other stores have the same price. Quite good price for a latest model 8K TV, maybe the best price so far? 65inch 4K 65U8G is also on sale for $1399.99

The U80G series have all the bells and whistles in Australia. Been confused before by Hisense model names being same but the TVs being different.
This TV appears to be only in Australia and has everything the other models should have.
I know very well their tricks on the model naming in Australia, that’s why I bought Sony X9500h instead of Hisense U8G a few months ago. But I still think for what this model offers it’s a quite good deal.
spec wise, it's indeed a very good deal. I used to like Hisense for what it could offer with a cheaper price than its competitors. However, buying 8K now is unnecessary
This model runs on android tv which in my opinion fixed one of the biggest issues on previous Hisense models. For 8k you may need it in the future, who knows:D. Just use it as a 4K ULED it’s still decent for the price.
@Aimforfun: I'm struggling to find any 8K contents. When it will become popular, I think it'd drop significantly the price, especially it's Hisense. But again, this is a good deal nevertheless.
Would have bough it in a heartbeat if it is mini LED.
This was also available at Costco in Moorabbin on Saturday.
