Tried and tested this myself, have gotten few thousands worth of SocialGood coins and cashed out to USDT.

IMO eBay AU works best with tracking(12-24 hours) and approvals always happen at the end of the following month, so it takes 31-60 days for eBay AU.

Aliexpress have also worked for me. Haven't really tried other stores.

New users need to spend US$30 or more within 30 days of signing up.

According to SG rep, increased referral expires 24/12/2021 midnight JST.

      Yes eBay has dropped to 50% since October. The good thing it works with coupons, where as SB/CR barely ever does.

    Signed up last night. Put in an ebay order. Unless it's upsized cashback I don't normally bother, for ~3% or whatever. I'm not losing anything by trying this, so it seems worth the gamble. Maybe it goes up, maybe it goes down. My 100USD showed as pending when I signed up. My ebay purchase from last night is showing as pending.

    Looking forward to having a bit of fun with it. I like diving into things like this, Crypto.com, Coinbase, random other crypto ventures where I have no idea what I'm doing and figuring it all out. I haven't gotten rich from it, but definitely made money out of them.

      Per the details on staking; only Metamask app is supported:

      *Total Staked SG = Approved SG inside the SocialGood App * 1.03 + SG inside of connected MetaMask wallet + Staking Rewards.
      *The amount of shopping refers to the amount spent through the SocialGood App in the 2 months previous to the time of calculation through the app and includes approved and pending SG.
      *The Staking Rewards are recalculated every 6 hours, the interest rate indicated is in APY.

        I am using metamask app. The problem is clicking on connect wallet opens the metamask app but doesn't bring up the dapp page where you actually do the connection.

          Oh sorry - I follow now; it worked on my brothers account; I don't use Metamask so havent tried on mine. (he was using IOS).

          Presume you are following the standard steps to link them?

          I know there isn't supposed to be much to it (click, it should open metamask to add the connection). Their twitter account is fairly responsive so is the zendesk assistance page.

            @MorriJ: I asked on their telegram page and was told this happens due to the mobile metamask app being glitchy. Was told to keep trying. Quite silly this is the only way to connect the wallet.

      Managed to finally connect my wallet. I had to copy the URL generated by the SG app when you click on connect wallet button and copy a part of it into the metamask browser manually.

      Haha! Reminds me when I started shopping in May when it was 100% cryptoback, coin price was $3 ish. By July when the coins approved, the coin was $1.5. Oh look at the coin price in August, it dropped to $0.5, I shopped more on eBay and those coins approved on 1st October. I sold them for $0.9x, cashback was more than 150% for me.

      Wait until tomorrow when they approve last months purchases - coin will plummet; but volatility is kind of what you are hoping for in some ways - keeps speculators interested.

      The actual SG company also does coin buy backs; previously were doing them to push the rates up; recently they seem to be doing them to just push the volume up rather than increment the coin value.

      Last month, mind you - it got to near $3 when they delayed allowing transfers out and had just implemented staking; market felt it was worth more.

      The amount of SG tracked is calculated based on the price you paid… If you paid $0 after a coupon, then you will get $0 tracked, or get nothing.

            So the coupon value is still tracked. Using coupon is mostly also tracked.

            Just dont know if they will approve it. I guess it will as they are start up, got too much money , busy counting money and lacks interests to squeeze out those small lose

I bought an item for about $160 and paid using a $100 gift card + the rest with my credit card, because a previous comment mentioned we get cash back for the original amount. SG came back tracked around $60 but I thought they have reduced the cash back rate to 50%?

      Because the original purchases of min US$30 need to be approved, in order for the US$100 bonus to be approved.

          I think it works like this :

          If you purchase at 30th, it will be approved on the next month 30th, so about 31 days.
          If you purchase at 1st, it will also be approved on the next month's 30th, so about 60 days.

          So its best to do big shopping when:
          platform still gives you big cashback like 50~100%;
          the coin price is low;
          at the end of the month;

          Yeh it does some coupons will lead to lack of acceptance. I’ve just decided to pay the lowest price and see if it works but I only joined a couple of weeks ago. I usually buy presents off Amazon with 5% cashback. This could be a bonanza or a fizzer

            @Korban Dallas: I did Aliexpress last time, but it wasn't things I need. Because of an extravagant purchase (which I don't even get cashback on) I'd also be dipping into my holiday money. I did try taking a look at some booze for the holiday, but eBay's only 50% back and it's expensive and not guaranteed to arrive in time. I'm sure there'll be more of them though.
