This is the lowest price for the Buds 2, the newest Buds model released by Samsung.

I was about to order late last night but my card on Amazon had expired. Checked today and it had dropped another $6 from $175 to $169. This may have been a price match with JB. https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B09BL3X87B

I'm a previous Jabra 75t user and loved it but it ran into issues just before warranty expired. I wanted to try something else and have been comparing between Buds+, Buds Pro and Buds 2. While the Buds+ is well loved its over two years old now, it looks like it is a toss-up between Buds Pro and the newer Buds 2. I chose the Buds 2 since it is smaller, lighter, newer and costs about $50 less than the Buds Pro now.

FYI The best deals on now for the three Galaxy Buds
* Galaxy Buds+, $118 @ Harvey Norman https://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-galaxy-buds.html
* Galaxy Buds 2, $169 @ Amazon AU & JB Hi-Fi
* Galaxy Buds Pro, $199 @ Amazon AU https://www.amazon.com.au/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-Phantom-Black/…

  • How does call quality of this compared to Jabra’s say 75t or 85t?

  • Does anyone have any recommendations on replacement tips for the buds. It doesn't look like Samsung sell authentic replacements

    • comply foam?

  • Great price for retail, particularly delivered via Amazon.

      What if I told you that most of it is nonsense?

      Best prices are for AU stock only, and they seemingly aren't aware that the original Buds still sell, nor do they discuss any of the differences between the products.

      Finally, they link RTings, which is almost entirely useless for reviewing audio, let alone an IEM where fitment can be pickier (and has been with the Buds2 and Buds Pro).

      Fact is the Buds Pro and original Buds would be preferred by most people as of right now, but the hope is the Buds2 get a Bluetooth LE update to transform their performance.

          Nah I'm chill, I'm mostly consigned to the fact that you'll learn nothing from this.

    Funnily, I just can't get used to the sound isolation when making phone calls with these sealed in-ear canal earbuds. So I actually use the inferior Buds Live, they have a very poor seal, but I can talk on the phone without the feeling of awkwardness when I hear myself only through the sound conducted from my jawbone through my skull to my inner ear.

    • Have you tried transparent mode when calling? I think it's on by default and I like it.

    • Im am the exact same. Much prefer the surrounding noise not being cancelled out

  • useless for iphone users
