The U2720Q might have UltraSharp branding and better connectivity, but it doesn't seem like it's much, if at all, better than the S2721QS, recently on sale for about a third of the price.

You need to factor in the cost of a screen calibration tool as I think the rtings scores are based on a calibrated screen. But even then it's still cheaper, especially if you're buying more than 1 monitor.

    • Agree. I’d been waiting on the U2720Q to come down again (it went into the mid $600s last year with the au affiliates and AMEX deals) but ended up with the S2721QS. Noting the differences between the U and S line, I can’t tell the difference for day to day computing. My main criteria was 4K, 27”, USB-C charging and reasonably priced, the S does that. Only downside is the limited number of USB-A ports (2). So I went back and bought the Premier wireless keyboard and mouse too….! I think you’re still in front with a new S over the refurb U.

      • I thought the S2721QS had no USB ports (A or C).

My bad, the S2722QC. Anyway, still a great monitor and a great price.

  • Underwhelming

  • Work has all Dell U3219Q's with our Macbook Pro's. Must say it looks 100% and our UI / UX designers love them.
