Not sure if it's a mistake, but only the S21 Plus is currently $500 off RRP on the Samsung website. This can be stacked with the trade in bonus of $300, and the usual vouchers ($150 or $250).

This assumes you are not returning the phone you are using for trade in. This works out to be the same as this popular deal.

Alternatively, if you have a CDS loyalty voucher, you can use that in place of the EDS and get an extra $100 off. The vouchers are supposed to expire in 30 days (newsletter) and 7 days (EDS, CDS), but I have had months old ones work fine at checkout.

Sale Price - $500 off RRP discount
This is the current sale price. You don't have to do anything to get this discount.

Trade In - $300 bonus discount
You have to apply to do a trade-in to obtain this discount. That means downloading the trade-in app on an eligible phone, entering credit card details and getting the trade-in number to enter at checkout. You do not have to actually send it in when time comes. Based on previous experiences, you will not have to pay back the $300 discount (or any administration / penalty fees), but will have to repay the trade-in value of your phone.

Newsletter Signup - $50 MA code
Sign up for the Samsung newsletter via the banner at the bottom of the page. You can email [email protected] to get a manually generated code if you never get the email.

Chat Code - $100 EDS code
Request via green circle chat icon that appears at the bottom right of the page. Mention you want to upgrade your Samsung phone and could they help lower the price since your phone has a trade-in value of $0 because it's broken.

Loyalty Voucher - $200 CDS
Note that you either use this or the EDS code, as they reportedly no longer stack.
Request via email to [email protected]. Provide photos of a broken S20 series Samsung phone, including front with IMEI showing on screen and back. Give them a week to respond, though it's supposed to be a response within 48 hours.

    People may wish to consider using a Revolut burner card if you don't want to risk chargebacks. Also, the Samsung rep told me last night my phone (S20FE) is not one of the Australian devices that is now region locked but wouldn't disclose which devices in our market are (Kept saying this information is private). If this is important you may wish to check, as I had no clue Samsung has started doing this in Australia (I know overseas it's now common).

    Also features like automatic call record are disabled now on their devices and I'm still trying to find a work around. Might have to get a UK sim card shipped to me so I can remove the Aussie restrictions.

    • I'm waiting out for a Z Flip3. It's not perfect but I intend to trade it in for a Z Flip4 when theat comes out next year.

    • Hope, s20 series has sd slot, all s21 series has no sd slot but all have 5g.

      This s21 plus offer is 5g with 128gb and 256gb.

                  My phone was not delivered, but they had dropped a note card to pick up from local post office, which I did same evening.

                  I thought since it's trade up value ($5) is so low for them to chase up. But that's not the case as your trade up value is same n you received the email.

                  Another thought (weak) could be that, local post might not have updated pickup or Samsung awaiting delivery confirmation.

                  Moreover it's not just one mobile, I purchased 2, picked up both but no email.

                  2 diff email I'd n 2 diff names.
                  BTW, the other mobile is for my partner

  • I had to get the 128gb s21+ but it's hard to complain for the total cost. I'm not sure it's worth the extra effort to get more for my phone on facebook so will probably just complete the trade in.

  • Got the EDS code very easily last night, simply said I had an old Samsung I wanted to trade in and wanted the $100 code to offset the cost of an S21, got it straight away. Newsletter code was given a couple of hours after sending an email.

    Cost ended up being $499 for S21+ 128GB, but will probably keep my phone and cop the $100 trade in back.

        • dont worry about it. no such thing. That fee is only for scenario where you return the phone but its broken or not working so he return it back to you and charge you this $60 fee. I didnot return my phone in a previous deal and did not get charged this fee just got charged the trade in value
