    Any advantage over Postman?

I don’t see any. Why would anyone use this when Postman works on all platforms?

        +1 for postman

Paw works on all platforms. From their website…

While we'll keep building the native macOS application as a first-class citizen, we're introducing today Paw for the Web, Paw for Windows and Paw for Linux!

        This site…

        https://rapidapi.com/blog/insomnia-vs-postman-vs-paw/

        says it's much faster.

I've used it before and it's a very easy app to use - the interface is just what you want it to be.

I think the only possible downside is that there is a lot of Postman files out there, but there is an importer for Paw so you aren't totally on your own.

        • guess they are all electron-like apps

          • @Pancake Moon: Originally it was a pure mac app - not sure what it is now. Paw was taken over/merged with another company so who knows what the direction is now, or the technology.

  • Thanks OP, got it, is there an app for this or only via the website?

is there an app for this or only via the website?

      What?

It looks like Paw is macOS app-only.

The "Open Paw" button looks like a deep link to the installed Paw app paw://private/_license/refresh

Did not see a web version at first glance.

License seems to be tied to account signup

Anyone know the interoperability vs Postman?

  • Thanks

I am looking for an http API tools at the moment

by the way, paw is universal, support intel x86 and arm64(m1)

I'd personally go with Postman over this, but each to their own.

    Postman?

Thanks I wanted to try it back in the day but then I found Postman, never had any issues with Postman.

This app is native macOS app. Much faster than postman. Unfortunately, the functionality is not as much as postman.

So, quick test, paw, site management, especially mock stuff, postman

  • Thanks so much OP, was going to buy a lisence legit yesterday but held off.
