  • Thanks OP, purchased !

      ha ha…

Nice to start off the day with a laugh…

      • Why?

$16 for 4 lightning cables from a decent brand, all 2m in length. Replaces the ones the kids have broken.

        • Why?

          not MFi

          • @jv: Is that all? We've been using BASEUS cables for years, never had a problem (other than kids standing on them and bending/breaking them). Lack of MFI doesn't seem to be an issue.

          • @jv: I supply both MFi and non-MFi cables as a phone accessories distributor and some non-MFi tends to be better than MFi ones. Apple takes a cut for every MFi cables and some manufacturers cheap out on quality and sell for higher than non-MFi to cover the fees.

  • Also, these are for iOS 10,11, & 12

    Current iOS is 15.1.1

    • They just didn't update the advertisement. Version of iOS does not affect the capability of cables

      • +1

They just didn't update the advertisement.

        To reduce costs?

      • Version of iOS does not affect the capability of cables

        Not true…

Otherwise why would they bother adding that to the advertising…

        • I am in the management of mobile phone accessories wholesale business in Australia and yes it is true.

          • @lehendx123: I am an electrical engineer that designs mobile phone accessories and no it is false.

            • @jv: Could you specifically explain how they affect the phone differently based on different version of iOS?

            • @jv: Being in phone industry for more than 10 years from iPhone 3g til now, including accessories and repairs, i have never seen or experienced any issues on iPhone running on latest software caused from using a cable that was advertised as suitable for iOS 11/12. I still have an Apple cable from iPhone 6 that came with iOS 8 pre-installed and yet it's still working at normal amp

        • Also, you've answered yourself. They didn't want to spend extra $ to add iOS 14, 15 into the new ad?

          • @lehendx123:

            you've answered yourself.

            Where did I answer that?

  • i miss those free cables from ebay plus…

    • That's weird.

      I received mine.

  • +1

I've got a pair of Baseus usb-c to Lightning cables that doesnt work for data transfer or syncing on both my mac or pc, but works fine for charging duties. On the same token, an older Baseus usb-a to Lightning cable i have works so not sure what the dealio is as neither the usb-a or -c cables are MFi.

Still, they're very good quality for the price paid
