Is there a technical difference for the stores that sell them?

    • This deal is available from CELLMATE for online purchases made with Coupon Code OPTUS30

  • do u have deals for different network like vodafone?

    • Hello

  • If you don’t need much data, can you use the credit to first recharge for the $30 plan and then change to $15 and get the unused data rollovered?

Hi @Cellmate, i received 3 x card sized sim cards with no $30 label noted anywhere. I suspect they are $2 sims. I haved emailed [email protected] for a response.

I took up this offer, as well, and received SIM cards in packaging marked "Recharge required to activate at an additional cost". These are NOT the $30 starter kits illustrated in this deal. Also, all three SIM packs received were unsealed.

    @sequence21:
Did you receive a satisfactory response from @Cellmate?

  • +1

I received the following reassuring response from Cellmate after raising the issue with them but have not activated a SIM to confirm this:

The sims that have been sent to you are the Optus $30 sims and no further recharge needs to be purchased.

Those are specially packed sims for us and the $30 recharge gets applied automatically upon activation of your chosen plan.

    • thanks for update! they should really include a warning on the website and the packaging
let us know if the activation worked with the proper credit

      • It certainly will.

        • how u know it? did buy and activated it before? its possible $2 and $30 kit have been mistakenly swap because they are similar package design?

          • @arumlamb: These are the same packs that are mass distributed among Optus Prepaid devices that include a free $30.

            It's the same thing.

            No. These are $30.

  • OP do you have anymore of these?
