          hahaha, i get it

          I know, a bit slow…

    • That made me LOLed

      Good deal tho…

  • It says get $10 off your first purchase when you enter the site… Does this apply?

    • minimum purchase of $10.

I tried using it but shipping is so expensive with this site, even adding a $3 item to make it $10.

adding 2 esky's and using the $10 coupon makes it 2 for $30.

    • minimum purchase $10, so you'd need to buy 2 :)

    • I think you have to spend over $10, not sure if shipping would be included in that cost.

    • Guess it was priced at $7 for a reason.

    Original? Bollocks.

The original Esky was made in Australia by Malley's, with a steel outer case.
This one is cheap Chinese rubbish and only holds one 6-pack.
The importer bought the "esky" label at a bankruptcy sale :-(

    • I found an awesome vintage Esky in dad's garage, tartan metal exterior. Seems to hold so much more for the size, no where near as bulky.

    • proof please

      • upload receipt or it didn't happen

    • I agree the original ones were of good quality and definitely built to last.

One thing I've always wondered is whether steel is a good choice of material for an esky as it conducts heat relatively well compared to plastic.

I always thought the design was changed to keep the contents cooler rather than to boost profit margins

      • I'm not blaming the companies. It is a competitive market, so they make what people buy.
Plastic survives salt water better, but goes brittle in the sun.

Just saying this is a long way from the original. Much cheaper too, no doubt.

  • Good price.
I've got one from 10 years ago and I use it every week. Still as good as new.
