OP said bought two for kids.

BTW the link couldn't see the $1.76 deal

      • Neither, had to scroll down a bit.

Thought it was just my phone playing up.

Inefficient way to cut up your kids, but whatever works…

      • +2

Got it. So it's good for goats

No is has cheap plastic handles. Wouldn’t use it for the kitchen.
Good for simple craft/office stuff, that’s it.

      • The handles would probably be fine, but I highly doubt the blades would be sharp enough for the job.

You can try, but in my experience, you can try only once, then it will be broken.

You linked to a search rather than the item. Is it this one? https://www.amazon.com.au/Maped-Essentials-Green-Scissors-17…

Minor point: your title says 70% recycled but the item only mentions 60% recycled.

Make sure you don't accidentally buy the $1 one with $23 shipping!

    • Yeah, I almost did. The Amazon page is very misleading. It showed $1 & Free Shipping, but then you'd add to cart and shipping would be $23. Seems that's been fixed though…

  • Ok so not the ones in the picture right? This is for the black plastic cheapy model ones

Is a scissor a half of a full scissors?

  • +2

Bought it from the last sale very average scissors.

  • +3

Agree. I bought 2 of these exact ones and they are way below average.
Good for cutting only a single printing A4 paper at a time.

  • On a related note… can anyone recommend “utility scissors”.
EG cutting up thick cardboard boxes etc, so heavy duty

    • +1

Use a box cutter to cut a box
