Nice try though OP, props for contributing.

PS, so close to Xmas/boxing day, might as well hold off.

    Good try.

Here's a tip, if you find a product on the computer stores official website, and if they have an eBay store, then good chance the eBay store will be cheaper if there's a promo code running.

    For example: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AMD-Ryzen-7-5800X-/265036958532?…

If you enter the current promo code you'll find that the 5800x is selling for $529.95 from the same seller, just different platform.

thank you for being supportive. Question, how do you find the promo code? newish to navigating the cheapest ways of the internet

One easy way to search for current promos is to search "eBay Australia" into ozbargain search bar. The search bar will come up with pop up lost of recommend stores. If you click eBay Australia from that list you'll go to the eBay page on ozbargain that has all current promos

No value at all. 12600k faster than and cheaper than this.

    • The new line from intel also use more power too (not by much compared to this model but quite a few AMD chips only use 65w….. not as hot as theirs).
Can anyone comment on the performace core situation with the 12series intel?

    • That's OEM

      • What exactly does that mean here? I know what OEM stands for, but whats wrong with it here?

        • Normally means without retail box and without fan

        • And those fans can be noisy you'll end up getting water cooling

      • is OEM meaning anything other than PC component? i.e: laptops

  • 5600x deals where r u

Was thinking the same thing lol

  • Recent articles stating things could get worse, globally, moving forward. Wondering if I should buy soon, "just in case"….

They'll still drop prices on boxing and new year's. If you're buying definately wait till then
