I have one of these units as a second STB:
PROs: it's small; the remote is easy enough to use; the YPbPr picture signal, and the tuner reception is pretty clear; it has dead-easy channel scanning and sorting functions.
CONs: the unit gets quite hot; the volume level is prone to fading in and out at random intervals several times an hour (a minor annoyance); also the subtitles are difficult to access and the text quality is pretty horrible; finally the program information is slow, ugly and stops the program while viewing it; (of course, no HD or PVR features but at this price you shouldn't expect them).
I've tried digicrystal, dgtec and teac — none of which were perfect, but didn't suffer from those problems. bottom line, spend another $10-30 for a better unit unless you really need something this tiny.
