Unlimited Free $15 Coupon to Spend on Purchases over $22.99 @ Epic Games

3210

Epic will be providing $15 coupons again as part of their Xmas promo.

Note that there is now a new shopping cart feature which means you may be able to add multiple items to your cart before applying the $15 coupon.

Note that the $15 off will only apply to games over $22.99 and not the total cart amount.

From Epic US

Yes, you read that correctly. Every full game you buy over the cost of $14.99 will receive a $10 off coupon applied at checkout, with no limit on how many games you can purchase. That means that no matter how many games are in your shopping cart, at least up to the 50 item transaction cap, any that cost over $14.99 after a sale discount has been applied will have an additional $10 off coupon applied.

Stay tuned for the daily freebies.

Included with GamePass if anyone has that.

  • Considering getting GTA 5.
Would it work on an m1 pro MacBook using crossover?
(didn't get a MacBook just for gaming, just might play once in a while)

    • It should… You could get a pirated version off e.g. Fitgirl Repacks and try it out then buy it if it works?? I mean if you're really worried it wont work. Crossover has been fine in my past experiences… it probably even has a bottle preset for GTA (like it does for other games)…

make sure you guys use vpn when buying on epic for discountie

    • Which region?

      • I use Argentina but I don't remember if you need to select Argentina when you setup the account or not.

Give it a try. Mine is locked on Argentina otherwise may need to contact them

Each time you do a purchase you do need to activate the VPN but not for playing

Assuming pricing doesn't change a few good games that will be at their ATL.

    Axiom Verge 2: $12
    Death's Door: $13.95
    TOEM: $14.99
    Chicory: $14.99
    Eastward $20.95
F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch: $21.54
    Bugsnax $22.99

    • +1

Some prices have changed (for the better!)

      TOEM: $8.99
      Inscryption: $8.16
      Disco Elysium: $10.64

Death's Door now $21.71 so no discount, but still a good price.

  • +1

Been waiting to pull the trigger on Disco Elysium and missed out when Steam had it for $28 last week. It's gone back up unfortunately. For anyone who has played it, would PC be a better experience compared to console? I'm primarily a console player but looks like it would be more user friendly on PC

    • +1

Would be easier on PC since there are a lot of things on screen to interact with. Also it's very text heavy and easier again to read everything on a monitor.

    • +1

You can get it from GOG via free VPN via Russia for a lot cheaper.

      • +2

wat! you beat me to it, I was about to say exactly that

alternatively, ukraine vpn same price. my vpn provider doesn't have Russian servers anymore

      • +2

Buying games in other regions like that directly affects how much goes to the dev. At that point you might as well just pirate it.

        • totally different. piracy means nothing goes to dev, buying from a cheaper region means dev gets the amount of money they have AGREED on for their product to be sold in that region.

          • @gizmomelb: Yeah, in that region.

            • @Hurg: and it's still being bought.. in that region.

            • @Hurg: Just wait till bosses find this loophole: "If we VPN via Tazbekistan, we only need to pay our workers ten cents an hour!"

          • +1

@gizmomelb: also if I am originally from that region I feel like it's totally fair to pay that region's price XD

    • +1

Yeah, better suited to a mouse.

  • The RiftBreaker is worth $30. Diablo meets Tower defence with terrible voice acting.

    • +2

      *on game pass too

  • +2

Tony Hawk $19.97 after discount.. I believe thats an all time low for PC/Epic

    • +2

So sad, bought it on black Friday sale and haven't even played it yet…

  • +1

im not able to combine games and get them to total over $22.99 for the $15 discount. I can only add single games worth more than that to get it , infact i can add as many games worth more than $22.99 that I like and get the discount for each at the checkout in one transaction. Can you get the discount on multiple titles worth less than $22.99 if so how?

    • This was the part that I couldn’t work out till the promo started hence why I mentioned it may work in the OP.

      • What's the workaround to get discount for games at $22.98?

  • +10

Disappointing that they priced Death's Door about $1 under the cut-off for the voucher.

    • +1

I wanted to get Scott Pilgrim but it's four cents under hah

ACTUALLY NEVERMIND, it was last night but it's now onsale for $11.47anyway, niiice

    • +2

I’m new to PC gaming - could you explain why?

      • +12

There's isn't a reason. He's talking out of his arse.

          • +6

@kungfuman: I work in IT and you're talking out your arse, if you're this level of paranoid, don't shop on the internet anywhere ever.

          • +2

@kungfuman: Weird how you say there's issues on EGS but you don't… mention any of them

      • +3

I've been on steam for 17 years, and I also buy games on Epic. Competition is good. Don't worry any more about buying on Epic than you would any other website.

        • -5

there is plenty of competition out there, Steam Origin, Ubisoft, GOG, etc etc Epic will never be part of that list of recommendations.

      • -3

Epic had many leaks of data in the past and there response to it is they dont' care, you can use it if you choose but don't expect you personal data to be safe.

        • +1

There have been, what, a dozen Steam leaks or exploits to reveal some level of customer info?

What specifically about credit card details is important here? And why did you bring up being in IT if this general comment anyone who pays even a tiny bit of attention to gaming news could make is your reason?

      • I buy from whichever store is cheapest, whether that be Epic, GOG, Steam, or another platform.

Epic Games had a data breach in the past. That being said, Epic now supports 2FA via an authenticator app (can enable in your account) and if you're not re-using passwords, the blast radius should be relatively contained.

Just make sure to read the payment page carefully, there's a checkbox saying "Do not save my xxxxxxx" which you should tick so Epic Games doesn't have your card / Paypal information.

If you do accidentally save your paypal information or you just want to remove your paypal authorisation, follow this link to remove it: https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/how-do-i-cancel-…

    • +3

Exactly..I gave epic my credit card details and they keep sending me money every month. I've asked them to stop but every month I get money.

Hope I don't go to jail

    • Whatever it is you're smoking I want some

  • stupid serve cant even go through order

    • Sometimes you gotta close out epic store and reload

    • I had the same issue. Worked for me when I added it to the cart then checked out through there.

  • +1

I really want to buy WWZ aftermath upgrade but it's 50c to cheap to qualify for the discount.

    • This. I was so looking forward to getting this with the discount, then realised it's A$22.49, cheeky buggers argh.

  • +1

    Hitman 3 for $19 is awesome - https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p/hitman-3

Only time it has been cheaper is if you use a Russian account/VPN.

    • Wish the coupon applied to the hitman 2 pass.

    • +1

Thanks! Does anyone know if it's out on VR yet for PC? (Sorry, I know I could google but short on time)

      • +2

Next year, likely to be out when it's released on Steam (late Jan)

        • Thank you! Maybe worth pulling the trigger at that price then, I'm guessing it'll work through Epic Games similar to how it works with Squadrons.

  • Sonic Colours: Ultimate is down to $30 with the voucher.
    Thats a new lowest price.

  • +1

I think I'll grab either Guardians of the Galaxy or Immortals Fenyx Rising as my Christmas game. Hmm.

    • +1

Fenyx Rising was a very refreshing surprise. Loved the humor and the bright colour palette. Gameplay was fun and varied enough to keep me interested and the game overall felt relatively well polished. It's a recommend for sure!

  • +1

    I got griftlands for $8.16.

    $28.95 - discount to $23.16
    $15 off

    takes it to $8.16

I think at that price it is well worth the punt.

  • Thinking about Kena: Bridge of Spirits as it is exclusive to Epic Games on PC. Not sure if it is better to play it on PS5 with haptic feedback or PC with better graphics without haptic feedback. 🤔

    • +2

Have a look at some youtube comparisons, IMO it looks gorgeous on PC if you have the hardware (3080 or better). The PS5 doesn't seem enough for this game, it's locked to 1800p and 30fps and still doesn't have the detail that a 3080 pulls off. Rumble still works, just not the full haptic feedback.

I'm a bit shattered I have a 3060ti, it really doesn't seem enough for games like this when I want to play 4k. I've been eying off some 3070 deals but games like this make me think I'll just wait for 3080s to come back down to earth.

      • +1

Doesn't the PC version of Kena support the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback if your using a PS5 controller on PC? Metro, Deathloop and quite a few other titles do have full support for the DualSense on PC (wired only tho) so hopefully more devs support it

        • Looks like the developers need to support it, it has been patched into games after release. I can't imagine it's that hard though if they're doing it all over the place.

I game with a PC on the TV though, I can't imagine going back to wired gaming. Hopefully someone cracks Sony's secret sauce to get it working over bluetooth soon.

  • Would anyone be able to recommend a multiplayer easy learning curve game that I could play with a non-gamer?

    • It depends on the genre you like. Minecraft is always a good option.

    • Why not just play TF2 or something? It's free and casual

    • +3

      Overcooked

    • Untitled Goose Game? (Local multiplayer only I think.)

  • +1

Thanks, I picked up Watch Dogs Legion for $14.68

    • +1

Same, even though I already own it on Series X I bought it on PC anyway because I couldn't stand playing it at 30fps. Look forward to playing it at 4K 60fps with ray tracing cranked to the max on my 3080ti!

    • Are you missing out on much by not getting the premium or whatever the mid tier version is called?

      • +1

Nah, I typically never buy any DLC for Ubisoft open world games as the base game is normally too bloated as it is to the point that I rarely finish them

        • I normally just use cheat or hack my game so I can fly like superman and finish games quicker in maximum glory

  • +2

Alan Wake Remastered which is currently on sale as well works out to be $9.74 after the $15 coupon

  • +1

    Thankyou OP
Finally red dead redemption 2 on PC for $30 !

  • might finally get cyberpunk.

    • No rush, unless you have top-tier GPU its nothing special IMO.
Expecting more updates and add-ons next year.

  • Damn it, the World War Z Aftermath upgrade is $22.49, $0.50 under the minimum amount.

  • WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship for $31.89 instead of $69.99
On sale with 30% off and the coupon stacks on top. Sold !

  • Any idea if this works or stacks with a VPN'd Epic? I remember few months ago I bought some games with Epic India and got some killer savings there. Will try when I get home, in case no one gets a chance to try.

    • Yes but hard to find games over $22

I'm using epic Argentina so most games $5-10 max

  • +2

Alan Wake Remastered, Satisfactory, Hitman 3, Inscryption, and Shenmue III for a grand total of $54. Don't mind if I do.

    • Shenmue is free

      • Yes and the other 4 combined are $54.
        $54 + $0 = $54 :)

        • +2

Haha gotcha just wanted to make sure you didn't add it to the cart early and get charged.

    • +1

That's ridiculous value.. Seriously. You already have 1000s of hours from the get-go with the crack simulator v2

  • +1

    Detroit: Become Human.

    $15 with this…

    Worth a buy?

    • +1

Excellent game that I finished two days ago on Steam. Definitely worth $15.

  • +2

    Outer Worlds $15.. tempted

    • Oh didn't see that, very tempted…

    • -2

      Not worth even with gamepass.

    • +1

Thought you meant Outer Wilds for a moment there. Last time Outer Wilds was slightly too cheap to qualify for the coupon, but this time it’s far more expensive than necessary for the coupon :/.

    • Just ok. Its an ok shooter for single playthrough, but something missing to make it what it should be (so close but so far).

  • Pulled the trigger on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.

A ridiculous amount of money even after the discount ($99.95), but what can you do.

    Damn you, Square Enix!

I reckon I got enough free games from Epic Games, so I call it SQUARE and fair.

    • A lot of money for a terrible port!

      • +1

        yeah i refunded lol
