Akko 3061S World Tour Tokyo R2 Hot-Swap Gateron Yellow Mechnical Keyboard $59 (Was $119) + Delivery @ PC Case Gear

520

Part of pccg offer over 12 consecutive days before Christmas. Came across this on pccg Facebook.

Normally going for 119 now only 59. With delivery you should be looking at 74 at least.

Hot swappable keyboard, the aesthetic japan world tour keycaps, rgb and prelubed gateron yellow are probably the selling points.

Cons is that if you want arrow keys, this might not be the easiest keyboard to get used to since you need to either change the format layout or rely on fn key + whatever to create 2nd layers.

Compact-Sized Layout:
World Tour Tokyo R2 Themed Design
Factory Lubed Gateron Yellow Switches
Dye-Sublimated PBT Keycaps
Cherry Profile
Hot-Swappable PCB
RGB Backlit
Supports 5-Pin Switches
USB Type-C Output Interface
Akko Macro 1.0

Star trek? Is that for enterprise orders only?

  • I don't mind going to collect but I Wonder why no pick up option.

      PCCG stopped that with COVID.

      • Thx!

      • now they get juicy delivery fees with all orders, pump those profits up!

As OP mentioned it is worth getting it even just to harvest the switches and keycaps alone, which I’m planning to use on my other keyboard. Thanks for posting this great deal!

    • U r welcome! The keycaps alone are not cheap if bought separately.

No arrow keys is a real killer

      yeah this would be a no-brainer with arrows. Instead it's a partial-brainer.

      • I'll get it for a cow-orker then.

    • This is probably why this has been put up as a daily deal tbh. The 65/67/68 key layout is much more popular because of the inclusion of the arrow keys.

FN Key's for arrow keys isn't a terrible deal though, easy to get used to (big fan of fn+wasd).

    Thanks, been looking.

  • Its not just key set but include the keyboard right?

It's the whole keyboard. Multiple mentions of things like RGB and USB-C. Regular price listed is the same as regular pricing in other variants. This is probably just the least liked keys "Gateron Yellow".

Gateron Yellows, are the most popular option for budget linear custom mechs.

Akko switches are pretty damn good for budget too.

          • @Fergy1987: Yeah akko switches are amazing price wise to performance. I got myself some akko lavender and they were amazing! I am super keen to try on gat yellow

and it's out… had it in shopping cart for 30 mins but couldn't convince myself to submit

    • Ah that's okay. I am sure there will be other deals coming up! Ozbargain meta is buy now, review if you need it later or you risk missing out on a good deal

    too slow Sold out :(

    • I'm sure they will have more deals coming up!

Thanks, was looking for a more compact keyboard to replace my giant corsair gaming browns.

Recently got a bunch of Gat Milky Yellows, lubed them up and filmed them and they sound/feel amazing. Got them for a good price too.

    • May I ask where did you manage to get them? I was looking around on daily clack, all caps and switch keys but cannot seem to find good pricing on them

Mine arrived today and I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

    • Mine arrived today too! And loving it thus far!! Such impeccable build quality and really aesthetic keycaps plus gat yellow switches buttery smooth

  • Anyone managed to remap the keys? Can't seem to find the right software. ObinsKit was super useful on my Anne Pro 2.
