I've been looking for Ergohuman chair recently and just found MyDeal started the sale.

I've been researching office chairs and it seems that Herman Miller and Ergohuman chairs are highly recognised.
But, all are expensive,
Now the price is much better. Enjoy :)

    Is this a reputable site?

This is the first time to me, but it seems this item was on sale couple of times before and people have been using it without problem.

I just received an email that item is dispatched.

Would be good to get your thoughts once arrived. Particularly quality of mesh and feel against skin while sitting

        • I received the item today.
Finished assembling in 10 minutes and sitting on it for about an hour now.
The chair is heavier than I thought, but quite solid and comfortable.
Back support is pretty good and nearly everything is configurable:
arm rest is fully adjustable - can move in/out and up/down and twist left/right
seat can move up/down and move front and back.
back can be adjusted up and down and can lean back and front.
Now I can understand why people spend money on more expensive chair and I think this is worth of money.

          • @josephs: Very useful. What's the quality of the mesh material feel like?

            • @Griefbringer: Qualitywise, it is top quality.
Each part is not using cheap material even bolts and nuts.
I am sure it will last very long.

  • You can check review from https://www.templeandwebster.com.au/Ergohuman-V3-Smart-Balan…
The site gives prize from the people put the review, so I think the review is quite helpful.

    • Awesome thanks! Did you decide on getting after reading the reviews?

      • I reviewed and understood that it is good one but still expensive.
Today I just checked and the price dropped for sale.
        So, I bought one.

  • What's the difference between Ergohuman Fit IOO and this Ergohuman IOO V3 Smart Balance?

    • With head rest and without I assume.

  • Is it suitable for people with sit bone issues (Ischial Bursitis) to get a mesh chair vs upholstered?

  • Any thoughts on the upholstered version vs the mesh version?

    • If you don't feel comfortable with the mesh texture, the upholstered version will make you feel more comfortable.

I just received/assembled mine ( mesh+upholstered with headrest). value wise it's great for this discounted price. The lumbar support is aggressive but i prefer it and love it. The seat cushion isnt super cushiony, but its fine and doesnt bottom out. Im 173cms 85kgs. I have the seat just before the lowest setting so theres a bit of 'give' with the gas support, my feet are not fully planted, but i use a foot stool anyway. My feet can be fully planted at lowest setting. The adjustabilty of the arm rests, seat, etc are great. Took about 20mins to unpack and assemble easily by myself. My tip would to do the armrests before attaching seat to base.

My ONLY issue is if you get the headrest version, the attached allen key for the headrest is definitely not fit for purpose, i struggled for an additional 20 mins, and its still not close. Its impossible because of the gap and the (vertical) allen key they give you. Don't waste your time and effort. A normal L shaped allen key should be no problem.

    • Hey mate, did you manage to secure the headrest in the end? - mine has a noticeable wobble. Seems like the provided screws are either too long or the screw holes in the headrest aren't deep enough / drilled properly

Yea, one screw was hard to get in, there was a bit of extra paint on the screw threads. If you twist the screw in and out of the headrest (without it attached to the chair), it will remove some excess paint off the threads and will make it heaps easier when you attach and screw together. Make sure youre holding the headrest and chair tight together when youre screwing it together, and use a normal shaped allen key. Mines fine, zero wobble

        • Cheers, using a normal shaped Allen key and removing some of the excess paint off the threads did the trick!

Just received mine. Everything good so far apart from the headrest. Is anyone elses really wobbly (like tilting back another 10 degrees when you put the slightest pressure on it) despite using a l shaped allen key to tighten it?

    • Yep, unfortunately, mines really wobbly as well… Did you manage to secure it in the end?

  • Ordered mine on 28/12/21.
Still waiting for dispatch. (2 weeks later)
