I have had these cables in my Amazon wish list for a little while for a decent quality USB-A to USB-C cable to use with Android Auto.

I went to check these out to take advantage of the 12% cashback with Cashrewards and noticed the 6ft 2 pack had been reduced from $29.99 to $22.49.

  I've switched over to magnetic data/charging cables for general use as well as for Android Auto. Much easier and safer than having to plug and unplug all the time. However, I would suggest getting ones with a plug that does not pivot. I have tried those and had lots of trouble with them losing connection. Bought these on ebay and they work perfectly.
