The 75inch q70a was less than 2k few months ago

60 series is not very good. 90 series is the lowest I would go to.

    • Even for just regular Netflix? Contemplating if getting the 75” Sammy or bit better spec but at 65”. Will not be use for gaming, maybe occasionally but more on movies.

      • 85a is way better than this. This is like looking through a screen door and a security screen as well.

You will not be able to watch sport. I guess for rumpus occasional movies yes its ok.

  • These seemed to have dropped in price across all of the retailers. Is there a new model due out in the new year?

    • Is there a new model due out in the new year?

I think Neo will be cheaper, may be mini LED become the mainstream.

  • Guess sell off before new models are shown

Waiting for the 75 inch QN85A to drop below $3k… fingers crossed in coming days…

    • Me too..

        • Oh I wish I had have seen that at the time. Woulda been a sicky for work and off to pick one up.

Yeah.. have to be born with a horse shoe up your arse to have gotten this. Pretty unrealistic. I saw this post within 3 hours and my home state had sold out the 3 DJs I tried..

    • 75 inch in the QN85A or X90J better?

  • Tempted… Very tempted… Might wait to see what else pops up this Boxing Day Sales.

Samsung TVs are not very good. Well at least in my experience I had a Q80T (and multiple replacements). Switched to an LG C1 and it's night and day difference. However, this could be a good buy for anyone wanting a cheap and big screen.

F#ck me 51 gift cards … That deserves a discount just for the effort.

FYIW I'd recommend people to read a few reviews and make an informed decision.

I saw the specs for the Q60A and would recommend to save money and buy at a minimum a Q70A, even at 75" or 65".

I went with the 85 QN85A which has a VA panel. Merry Christmas y'all!!

  • samsung education store - 1799 for 75inch.
I bought it for 1975 on black friday sales. sighhhh.

    Soooooo 51 x $100 vouchers = $5100 for a $2995 TV something screwy with that math????

    • I bought an LG C1 OLED 65 inch as well during Black Friday sales for which I paid 20% upfront (also using TCN Cards) as it was back-ordered. As the shipping delays have been resolved, LG C1 was also back in stock so in total it was $5660 for both LG C1 65 and Samsung Q60A 85. The remaining balance was 5100+ for which I used 51 more cards.

      Hope that explains.

Note: I price matched Lg C1 65 inch with goodguys ebay store which was at $2745

Figured you had bought something else as well, just thought should have some clarification seeing as you mentioned 51 gift cards!! :)
        Merry Christmas!!

  • Merry Christmas ! I had 82 gift cards in total. So I am placed second after @wookiemonster

  • It's $1869 in Catch.com.au now. You should get around $80 cashback with cashrewards.
