Looks like a pretty decent price on the Corsair MP600 CORE 2TB. I haven't looked up the previous deals.

It's hard to find a place for it though. You wouldn't use it as your boot/application drive, that would be ideal for a WD SN850.
Purchase a couple to fill up your remaining NVMe slots, a reasonable choice it is.

What turns me off using it is that there is a 4TB variant available with slighter better specs, so you'd technically be missing out on the additional storage for what your build can produce. The 4TB would be significantly more expensive(without any sale active of course)

Bang for buck, it looks good. Also, a new WD SN850 is being released soon called the WD SN850x, I'm unsure what it's benefits are, but that could mean a new series of NVMe's being released by other manufacturers too, which would also mean the current line-ups price would drop, naturally.

I can't speak for the graphics cards, I'm unfamiliar with the active pricing.

    • can MP600 Core used for PS5 internal SSD drive?

      • Looking at the specs, I don't believe it can keep up with what Playstation recommends.

    • Thanks for sharing your view!

      Cheers,

ima keep on holding till 27/1/22 for the new refresh nvidia cards to be release, whether the current product line will decrease in prices or continue to hold its high prices :( been sitting on parts for 2 years still havnt assembled new pc :(

some of the parts probably out of warranty already without you testing it, might just assemble it now without the gpu if that's the last part you need.

    • I have a similar issue myself, lucky I had old parts from my PC. I had my motherboard for a whole year before even updating the BIOS, I had to get in touch with AMD for them to send me out a CPU as my old Zen1 wouldn't work in it and I needed an update from a Zen2 CPU to be able to use my new Zen3.

      Currently using a 1060 gtx

      • Did AMD send out one for free for the update?

        • Yeah, but I had to supply a bunch of documentation and prove that I had attempted to contact the reseller/manufacturer first with no progress.

Then send it back following their set of rules. (they gave me two sets of rules which contradicted themselves, quite frustrating)
