  • Thanks OP, as it's over $15 it pairs nicely with $5 bonus Shopback

    • Isn't it 0% on SB on electronics?

      • Yes, but you still get the $5 - @gotyourback confirmed

  • Same price at JB. They also had the KP115 (with energy monitoring) for $23.20 last month which I reckon was a better deal but don't seem to stock it anymore.

  • If you need 2,isn't the JB price better?

Standard on goodguyscommercial is about $33 twin pack 👍

      • Doesn't seem to be listed anymore sadly

  • Is this HomeKit compatible?

    • No it’s not. But if you run homebridge, you can use a Kasa plugin to control with HomeKit. I have this set up for multiple PPs in my house.

  • What's the difference between this and Mirabella Genio smart plugs? They seem to be cheaper at Kmart and Woolworths.

    • These use Kasa which is TP-link's ecosystem, and the Mirabella are Tuya which means you can use a number of different apps or you can probably flash them with custom firmware.

If you already have Kasa/Mirabella (Tuya) devices you should probably continue using those so that you keep 1 app/ecosystem. Makes it easier to manage.

Do these fit side by side in power boards/points?
May be the main advantage over the bunnings connect ones I got

    • Yes they do.

ta, got a few powerboards with a mass of cables/adapters and can't really use every second plug
sounds like TGG 2 pack is the way to go

  • These are great. Been rocking 3 of these and just got another 5.

  • I have been getting the arlec ones at Bunnings. Very happy with these and they include a power meter.

    $17.50 or 4 for $60.

What is so good about the TP-Link ones?

    • Just Slimmer
Agree the Bunnings are good for the price and I like native tuya etc

      • Arlec ones are slim too. Smallest I have seen and can load up power boards with no issue.

        • They're big but protrude out so can fit normal plug next, just not two side by side. The TP looks a lot narrower

          • @G-rig: Did you look at the link? One of the pictures is literally two side by side.

            • @jimmej: Yes but was replying regarding the fact that the arlecs aren't slim aka can't fit two side by side ;)

Isn't this pretty much their normal price ($19.95) though?! 🤔
