Increased Referral Bonus of US$200 Worth of SG (Crypto): Min US$30 Spend in 30 Days Required @ SocialGood App

1015

As per recent deal, I have tried and tested this myself, have gotten few thousands worth of SocialGood coins and cashed out to USDT.

It was $100 referral, now $200, not sure what to make of it, but my guess is they are not reaching their new sign up targets quick enough. Though, there's not much really to lose by trying out the App.

IMO eBay AU works best with tracking(12-24 hours) and approvals always happen at the end of the following month, so it takes 31-60 days for eBay AU.

Aliexpress have also worked for me. Haven't really tried other stores.

New users need to spend US$30 or more within 30 days of signing up.

For those who have more questions about the SG/App, withdrawals, feel free to DM me, happy to help answer any questions. I've been using the SG app since May 2021.

  • Ok can confirm aliexpress tracked very quick but watch out to buy affiliates item only.
Ebay abit slower maybe tracked 10 hours after, using ebay giftcard (all/full) to purchase is fine. Probably okay with some voucher code but ymmv

    • Can you elaborate affiliate items for AliExpress?

      • +2

        https://portals.aliexpress.com/linkchecker.htm

Check before you buy. Yeah i know its ridiculous. I hate it. Wasting time. What the hell they were thinking (aliexpress).

        • Just to double confirm - are only affiliate items eligible for cashback?

        • I am re-reading the T&Cs for AE in SG and can’t see where this condition of being an affiliate is mentioned in SG?

          • @ilovefullprice: Well i had my non affiliate tablet purchase without tracked but a cable tracked in 1 hour (both aliexpress) so…… I wish there is an email address we can ask?

            • +1

@CyberMurning: That’s strange, one of my items is also non-affiliate but it got tracked.

              • +1

@ilovefullprice: Hmm unless i can get confirmation from sg staff i wont risking expensive purchases

                • @CyberMurning: I reckon you should contact the admins why your purchase wasn’t tracked.

                  • @ilovefullprice: You got email i can use? For now i ask their facebook messanger not sure if anyone will answer or not

                    • +1

@CyberMurning: There's an option to submit a ticket on the app.

                      • @tajid: Where about? Been looking for hours

                        • @CyberMurning: FAQ, just select any topics, at the bottom: Have more questions? Submit a request.

@CyberMurning: At the top, click on the “half human” logo to get into My Account ~> click FAQ -> at the top, click on the 3 lines logo -> click Submit A Request.

                    • @CyberMurning: You're right, not everything qualifies for cryptoback, same like when you use CR/SB.

        • +4

All of my purchases have tracked so far. I just follow the Aliexpress rule that you must search for it and click on it in the search results. Some items that I want don't show up in the search through SocialGood, but do if I search outside SocialGood, so I don't buy them.

I will see how I go when it's time to be approved. I received 4 of the items end of last month and only ordered the other 2 this week, so I still have a bit of a wait before they're approved, but they tracked no issues.

          • @Miss B: Do you mind to check if the items are all affiliates?

          • @Miss B: its almost imposible to search accurately for a particular item in aliexpress.

            • @CyberMurning: Oddly enough, if you change the search from Best Match to say Low to high, it actually seems to match better. I then do some filtering by estimated price, I go a little lower than I expect it to be, but it filters out some of the junk at the bottom.

              • @Miss B: Did that. Still have tons. And when i click to check if that is item and then click back, the page will go back to the top. Totally waste of time.

        • From what I've seen the app's 'browser' only shows affiliate items (and ads, which are invalid). But yeah, good idea to double check there if doing a large purchase.

Almost 3 days and the withdrawal request is still sitting as "Pending". Not impressed with their "congestion" reason.

    • It's not a great excuse as crypto is supposed to be rapid. It does come through eventually though.

3 days like between Christmas and the NY?

Nobody that has a life works during the end of year holiday.

I would rather make money while I sleep than trade my holiday being a wage slave.

    • Same boat, do note just like AU, 3rd of Jan is a public holiday in Japan (assuming they work out of Japan). Not happy but not too much worried….

      • In the same boat, it's horrendous experience

    • +1

5 days now, still marked as ''Pending" and overnight the value has dropped from USD 0.72 to 0.45…….

      • Lost over $500.

I smell fishy as it shouldn't take that long to cash out SG.

        • +2

Have you already converted it form SG to some other crypto at 0.45?

If not, you haven't lost anything, just wait for it to climb back up (assuming it does).

          • @squarepants: I don't think this is good investment advice.

I think this product is more likely to decrease in value over time because SocialGood pretty much issues currency for free. Something that is issued for free is more likely to decrease rather than increase in value. The only hope is that the market perspective on this currency is very positive.

There has to be demand to match the supply increase. But I don't know why anybody would buy POLC, when you can just buy crap off AliExpress or wherever and get POLC for free.

I might have missed something though, so please enlighten me if I have - I am pretty new to crypto!

            • @MJ1: Not investment advice at all. I should have added the usual disclaimer: comment below (and above) does not constitute financial or investment advice yada yada.

I'm not advising holding on to it for a long period of time (months or years) by any means.

There seems to be a cyclical pattern to SG. When it is cashed out early in the month when transactions get approved appear to be when it drops, it then goes up mid-month again.

All I'm suggesting is that it would not hurt to hold on for a few more weeks to see if it does the same.

There's an understanding from some that if we can get back something close to the cryptoback amount that SocialGood is sprouting (i.e. eBay 50%), great, but if not some percentage of that is equally as good (i.e. eBay 25 to 35%). That's my view as well, if I can get back 50% from an eBay purchase, awesome, but if it's somewhere below that due to SG's value dropping, no harm done. I'd still be ahead of using a cashback site.

I don't have any intention to hold this for the long term, so if it gets anywhere near parity to my transactions and I've got approved transactions I'll be cashing out. Anything above that is a bonus, anything not too far below that, I'll take too.

        • yes drop from 0.7 to 0.5

      • +1

My withdrawal has completed now. After 5 days wait. I will wait for it to rise up again before transferring out of the exchange.
This is a crypto and volatility is to be expected. Patience is key to crypto and buying more on the dip if you can.

        • -1

That's only logical if investing in POLC is the best investment option you have. And if that is the case, the next logical step is to consider buying more POLC.

What exchange did you withdraw to? Still waiting on mine at 5 days to BitMart

is there any easy step by step guide on how to cash out on SG coins?

  • SG has taken a steep dip from $0.74 to $0.49.

Perfect time to do referrals and the $100 bonus promos.

Set it to exchange to USDT at 0.85. Might be dreaming, but I'll see how I go. I got them at ~0.80, so really pushing my luck, but don't need it urgently and it's only ~150 SG. I'll see how it's going in a month if it hasn't happened.

Not sure about the terminology, so hopefully that makes sense.

    • And it just went through at 0.85, could probably have gotten more, but I'm happy with that. Love being able to set and forget, though I was watching it for a little bit there. Noticed the price was up as I was getting ready for bed, 5 mins later it was sold.

      • +3

153 SG, have received 167 AUD in my bank account.

        • SG—> Bitmart exchange SG
        • Put in the request to exchange SG to USDT when it hit 0.85
        • Played around with Bitmart and have left 6 USD behind, which I'll collect next month
        • Found that XLM has a good transfer fee, so exchanged to XLM in the end, it's about 0.40 AUD and the fee is 0.01 XLM (about $0.004?)
        • Withdrew to Coinjar XLM wallet
        • Exchanged to cash, which took 1% ($1.70)
        • Withdrew to bank account

All transfers/exchanges/withdrawals very quick, within a couple of minutes, other than getting it from SG to Bitmart, which took ~ 4 days. Also obviously waiting for the right price took most of the day.

This is from my initial 30USD spend + sign up referral bonus, which was 100 USD at the time.

        • Did you transfer your USDT from Bitmart to Coinjar and then sold USDT on Coinjar to get AUD?

          • @Ash-Say: Nah, Coinjar said it was an ERC20 address, which seemed to be 50USD to transfer. I changed it to XLM on Bitmart and set up the XLM account on Coinjar. Transferred the XLM from Bitmart to coinjar for 0.01 XLM fee. Then sold the XLM for AUD.

            • @Miss B: Will you lose some value by tradeing USDT to XLM?

  • How people got their SG approved so quickly? I registered and made a couple of purchases on Dec 26, the app tells me that I have over 600 SG but they are still pending.

    • +1

They are talking about Nov purchases/referrals.

      • Ah, thanks.

      • My November referrals and purchases from the previous deal ($50) hasn't been approved yet. Wonder if the value is going to continue to go down before we have a chance to withdraw. Why would anyone buy this crypto? Where can they use it?

        • +2

I expected SG value to go down, considering how much crypto they are probably issuing to cover all these promotions. If I get 20-30% of the USD balance the app shows me now, I'll be happy.

        • I suspect the project developers would be using some of the sales commissions that they received to buy back the token in the market to control its price.

          • @ilovefullprice: If they use some fraction of commissions to buy back SG and if that's the only major buying going around, then you can expect SG value to go down to below the commission rate they receive, which is more like 5 to 10% of the purchase prices of the things people are buying to get the 100% cash backs (in SG). Does that seem to be the logic behind the crypto market price?

  • Finally got my 1st Jan transfer came through….and the price got pumped up now around 0.75 usd..hopefully this is their targeted price range…

    • Isn't it 0.57 USD now?

      • +1

yep it is, I got a push notification like 1 hour ago saying it goes up 30% … and it says AUD 0.75, my bad. Around 2pm it was A$0.79 but not holding it for long so ..my take is then selling pressure is very high…

      • Last night, it was 0.83 USD :). It's up n down.

        • +1

I was prepared to wait a month to get 0.85, ended up getting it last night. It's kind of good that it's up and down. On Bitmart you can just set your sell price and it sells when it hits that amount.

  • Weird bought 3 items from the same aliexpress seller, paid at the same time,
2 tracked 1 is not yet already 1 day.
    Oh well…

    • It will be tracked. When can we withdraw SG? I heard it takes 1 to 2 months, is it right?

      • +1

With eBay, at the end of the month after you purchase it gets approved, e.g. buy in Nov, approved overnight 31/12-01/01.

With Aliexpress it's less certain and may be based on the individual seller. Apparently 1-3 months after goods are confirmed as received.

        No idea about other stores.

Once it's approved you can withdraw to the exchange, e.g. Bitmart, which can apparently take a couple of minutes to up to a couple of weeks. Mine took 4 days, mostly weekends/public holidays.

Once it's on Bitmart, if you sell it for the market rate you can have it in your bank account in under 10mins (this is my experience using Coinjar). If you want to sell for higher than current market price, you can set your sell price and it will take as long it takes to get to that price, then about 10mins from there.

        • Thanks for the response :) I bought an item from AliExpress and tracked it in a day's time. Still waiting for the approval. Min 1 to 2 months.

        • +1

          @miss B
so we need to create account with bitmart and also coinjar ? sorry im noob in crypto.
i get we need exchange to sell (just like shares, a broker) but what is/why we need coinjar ?

edit: confused now bitmart and coinjar are both exchanges so we just pick one, right?

          • @CyberMurning: Only a few exchanges have SG. I don't know how to get the money out of Bitmart into my bank account, I might try other things next month. I had a Coinjar account, so it was an easy way for me to get the money out in a few mins, but CoinJar costs 1% in fees. It cost less than 1c in fees to get it from Bitmart to Coinjar, because I used XLM.

            • @Miss B: how that compared with Binance?

              • @jimwh: Haven't tried Binance, so not sure.

            • +1

@Miss B: so the steps are:
              1. transfer SG coins from SG to bitmart
              2. sell SG coins on bitmart, get (i dont know? USD cash? or AUD? or another coins? but why not sell to cash straight?)
              3. transfer the proceed (i assumed AUD dollar not coin?) from bitmart to coinjar (probably to save fees)
              4. transfer from coinjar to local bank account

              • +3

@CyberMurning: These were my steps, I've repeated them below with the reason why I did what I did, there are different options for pretty much every step I followed.

                • Transfer SG from Social Good to Bitmart
                • Set it to exchange SG to USDT on Bitmart when it hit 0.85 USDT
                • Exchange USDT to XLM on Bitmart.
                • Transfer the XLM from Bitmart to Coinjar (0.01 XLM fee - less than $0.01)
                • Withdraw the XLM to cash in Coinjar (1% fee)
                • Withdraw the funds to my bank account.

                ‐————————————————————

                • Transfer SG from Social Good to Bitmart

*I think there are 3 exchanges with SG, so make your choice. It seemed most people  were using Bitmart.

                • Set it to exchange SG to USDT on Bitmart when it hit 0.85 USDT.

*This is because I wanted to make sure I got enough $ for my referral and 50% cashback. You can change it to any coin. You can change it at the market rate if you are happy with the current price, don't need to set it to exchange at a particular price like I did.

*It doesn't seem SG can be converted to cash, but some coins, like USDT can.  So you can say change to USDT then change that to USD, EUR or GBP. Not sure what you do after you change it to cash though, haven't looked into it.

                • Exchange USDT to XLM on Bitmart.

*The reason I did this is because I was transferring to Coinjar. There are different fees for transferring each coin, XLM is very cheap at 0.01 XLM.

*I don't know what other options there are for getting the money out of Bitmart, or whichever exchange you use. Someone  said they used crypto.com

                • Transfer the XLM from Bitmart to Coinjar (0.01 XLM fee - less than $0.01)

                • Withdraw the XLM to cash in Coinjar (1% fee)

                • Withdraw the funds to my bank account.

I doubt this is the best/easiest/cheapest way to do it, but I was happy with this process and found the fees acceptable. I have used Coinjar before and that's why I used it this time, it was familiar and I knew it worked.

                • +2

@Miss B: Another exchange to receive xlm is coinspot

                  • +1

@Ash-Say: ah thats good i have coinspot already from last year promo posted on ozb

                • @Miss B: @miss B
i get USDT is pretty safe but
                  Exchange USDT to XLM

is that increase our risk ? as we are buying another crypto (XLM) -
what if after we buy second later XLM crashes into nothing? why not exchange USDT to Bitcoin ? safer than xlm for sure?
edit: hmm actually im not sure if XLM is a coin or not..

edit: ok you explained why. because coinjar….

                  • +2

@CyberMurning: XLM is a coin. Very old one. I got airdropped some many years ago.

I would suggest looking at blockfi, binance and Nexo.

Transferring USDT can be very expensive. Blockfi allows you a free withdrawal every month.

Binance is the gold standard and you can stake for increased returns. Same with blockfi can stake high yield with USDT

I would suggest not using coinjar and coinspot due to high fees and spread.

LTC is another good one if you are looking for cheap transfer fees.

                    • @Korban Dallas: so in that MissB steps, where should i stop and insert binance?
i guess the bitmart is a must, so maybe modify step 4 ? ie transfer XLM to Binance ? can i withdraw/sell XLM from binance (if i dont want to stake).
or maybe skip step 3 and step 4 become transfer USDT to binance ?

                      1. Transfer SG from Social Good to Bitmart
                      2. Set it to exchange SG to USDT on Bitmart when it hit 0.85 USDT
                      3. Exchange USDT to XLM on Bitmart.
                      4. Transfer the XLM from Bitmart to Coinjar (0.01 XLM fee - less than $0.01)
                      5. Withdraw the XLM to cash (1% fee)
                      6. Withdraw the funds to my bank account.
    • Did a purchase in AE yesterday and encountered my first purchase which wasn’t tracked (after about 10+ purchases all tracked).

Have sent support a ticket. Let’s see what happens.

      • Did you get a reply to the ticket? Having the same problem with 2 Ali purchases.

        • how to explain we had bought something but didnt get tracked ? i mean with shopback there is click history we can refer to them but with SG app, none ?
or we just say i made purchase on this time for $xx and from xxx store (but their time could be different from australia time) and please check, thats all ?

        • Having the same problem with 2 x purchases on ebay on the 5th. Every other purchase I've made has tracked. Sent a request on the 7th, still waiting for a response.

          • @Miss B: Saw someone posted a question on this in the Telegram group chat and another person (not Admin) said there was a problem with AliExpress and to wait up to 7 days until the 12th Jan to see if it’s tracked. If not, then send support a message.

The Admin who was chatting in between these chats didn’t rejected or said anything, so I guess there could be a slight truth to this.

            • @ilovefullprice: Thanks, mine is ebay, so I think the issue is SG. I know I followed the correct procedure and have not had any other issues, just these two on the same day.

I haven't made any other orders since because I was waiting, but I've made a small order today and will see what happens with it.

        • Were both your purchases made on the 5th Jan?

  • Hi mate, I am just wondering whether we can use coupon codes when placing orders via eBay. The T&C doesn't specify this issue. It just says coupon codes for US & CA eBay products. Thank you.

    • +2

I've had eBay purchases with coupons tracked and approved.

      • That's perfect. Thank you.

        • same i have used the monthly ebay plus member unique coupon, and then paid all with ebay giftcard, tracked

          • @CyberMurning: Tracked and approved or just tracked?

            • @AaronR: tracked with status of pending… and weird is, approval date is empty
same like shopback, approved/confirmed will be months away

edit ok i get what you mean, could be denied, right? but many said they will be fine.
