@spaceflight: I've done the work once already. Not going to do it again for every keyboard warrior. DIY.

Don't like it? Don't care. Enjoy your crappy batteries.

              @justtoreply:

I've done the work once already.

              You watched a video.

Not going to do it again for every keyboard warrior. DIY.

You don't need to watch it again.
I think you were looking in the mirror when you typed out keyboard warrior (especially with a name like justtoreply).
I'm asking where this evidence is to backup your claims because I want to know more!

Don't like it? Don't care. Enjoy your crappy batteries.

Seems like you can't back up your claims and are resorting to insulting those who question you.

  • It seems they're practically giving away batteries these days

    • +2

It's not a bad price at all for rebadged Fujitsu AA Alkaline batteries.

  • -2

I have rechargeable batteries still going strong from 10 years ago. If you’re looking for cost effectiveness, go rechargeable.

  • +3

Thanks OP. Buying as my kids' basic remote control cars won't run on 1.2V Eneloops

  • Did they stop selling these in Australia for 9 months? Looks like it according to the 3 camels.

    • There was probably a major stock shortage at the time.

Spewing that I missed out on the earlier deal of the 100 pack of AmazonBasics AA batteries for $11.20. Can't justify paying more for this deal after knowing this.

  • gone up in price or is it just me?? its shown as $16.86 for 48 :(

    • +2

On the checkout screen it should change to the reduced price.

      • This worked. Thank you!

      Just you

Disposable batteries. Disposable nappies. Disposable shavers. Disposed nailpolish and make-up supplies. Constantly buying GMO snack foods & diabetes drinks. Disposable foam shoes. Discarded toys. Discarded clothes. Discarded paint. Phones without replaceable batteries. Millions of screens shattered worldwide every year, etc. Multi-trillion $ scamdemics, taxes and tyranny. This is living!

    Yum yum. The good life.

Want less waste and more productivity? GMO is your friend. Monsanto, Massive Corporatism and Genetic IP Drama is a separate issue.

    • Disposable nappies.

The alternative sounds pretty shitty if you ask me.

  • These better than VARTA at Bunnings?

    • +3

Varta from bunnings are shit batteries , dont last long at all

      • I disagree. They are on par with Energiser or Duracell.

        • I disagree they are definitely not on par

        • Father in law has an outdoor weather station and it went through vartas every month

Put a decent name brand batteries in it and its easy been a year

How often do people replace remote batteries with their rechargeables?

I've had the same alkaline batteries in there for years

Game controllers, I use rechargeables and replace every few weeks with charged ones

    • +2

my LG says to not use rechargeables

  • +2

Cheers OP, great timing with all the new xmas toys requiring these, grabbed a pack of each.

    Price has gone up

Wheres the subscribe and save option ?

  • How do these compare to the Varta brand sold at Hammerbarn?

    • Well you're basically comparing a Varta to a rebranded Fujitsu battery. In my opinion both brands will be good.

  • I was about to pull the trigger and realised they seem to be below the average based on this:
    https://goughlui.com/2016/12/19/great-aa-alkaline-battery-te…
(the result is on the next page)

  • Anyone know what happened to the amazon rechargable batteries?

  • +1

For those people who are debating about these batteries, check out the video below. Some guy has done all the tests you need and well presented as well.

If you could not be bothered to watch it, here is the conclusion, these batteries perform roughly 75% power capacity of the Duracell batteries.

  • Just to let everyone know, the initial screen will say $16 something, only at the checkout screen it will turn into $12

  • thanks, saving this for the apocalypse
