  • Read the reviews about customer service on the Amazon link provided. I think I'll get the Redarc.

  • I have a number of Renogy products, 3000W inverter, Lithium 40A solar charger, Charge display. On the whole they are good products however this range of DCtoDC chargers is not good….. It will charge from the car and the solar at the same time but NOT at the full capacity of 50A. It limits the max charge current from each source to 25A..This totals 50A but only if the inputs are maxed out… and wont at any stage charge from one source only at greater than 25A

    I got around this by buying the dedicated car charge box and a separate solar controller I can now charge at almost 100A from both sources and 50A if available from just one..
