Staub 28cm Cocotte / Stockpot €192.44 + €42.50 Shipping (A$370.76) @ Kochform.de (Germany)

20

Hi everyone,

first time posting here.

I've just received my brand new 28cm Staub Cocotte (and a wooden spatula) in basil green from www.kochform.de in Germany for which I ended up paying only AU$353.63 (€225.41), incl shipping to AU back in November. The Cocotte was only €192.44 (Kochform.de automatically deducted the German GST so you save 16% off the original price once you select AU as destination, and shipping came to €42.50. I used Wise (previously Transferwise) to pay for the Cocotte.

Please note that the website is in German only, but you can use google translate to translate the site into English. Please also note that Google Translate will translate "Staub" into "Dust", which is what "Staub" means in German.

Delivery took just over 6 weeks (ordered Nov 21st 2021 and received the items Jan 6th 2022).

This offer is way cheaper than anything I could find in AU and there are more colours available too. Not sure if the offer has an expiry date, though.

Hope this helps anyone wanting a decent stock pot for a bargain price.

    Price in title

    • Depending on the model and size the price will vary hence why I didn't add it to the title. But throughout the Staub range of stock pots I found this site heaps cheaper than any boxing day or black Friday deals here in AU.

      • Add best example. Must have price in title

Thank you, I've amended the title.

Hmmm, picked up the 28cm Graphite for $302 aud from Amazon last year. Seems to get down to about $330 regularly if you have Prime.

That's a good price. Myer has the 28cm in basil green on sale for $464.

I have exactly the same one (bought from Myer in late 2017). Quality is excellent but it's too big for our family of four. If I could go back and choose again, I would go down a size.
