      Starts at 6pm today.

  • Great deal - please confirm AEST 6pm start time?

    • Thank you! 6pm AEST
Limit of 8 units per person per product

  • +8

Sister told me that this brand got flagged for misleading and deceptive conduct after I got one last time. The claim of SPF50 was false and its more like SPF20.

    • Maybe that's why they are getting new packaging?

    • +30

True, that was the korean purito brand, the australian Purito brand (us) has no connection and our products tested at SPF54 in-vivo (TGA / FDA Testing).

    • +2

      Good to know thank you

      • +8

The 40% Zinc Oxide sunscreen we sell tested at SPF86 in-vivo, but in Australia we can claim a maximum of SPF50+ due to TGA regulations. It is thick but does the job if you are spending serious time in the sun.

  • +3

40 mins water resistant only. Need 2 tubes a day per person if at the beach.

  • +2

    What’s the expiry on these?

  • +6

I bought these the last time they had these cheap on Amazon.

My feedback, is this is the thickest sunscreen I've ever used. Not really my liking but each to their own

    • +8

Just tried mine today and they felt like oats lol

      • +2

        Trusty sunscreen porridge

    • I find Derma Veen has a good compromise between thickness and greasiness. I can’t use regular brands because i look shiny even with just a little bit.

    • my thoughts exactly, i couldnt use it as an everyday sunscreen

    • +2

Agreed, like spreading glue on your skin. Not for me.

    • Same here.
Left it in the car as last chance when i forgot to bring normal sunscreen. Or to lube some parts in the car if needed

    • Agreed. It almost feels like putting Vaseline on your face/body

  • Awesome, thank you!

  • -2

The STAFF2022 discount code does not work for me

    • +2

      6pm

  • -1

Which one is best for general use?

  • +1

What the! I paid $3.49. Oh well.

    • Yup I paid about that on their first black Friday deal and it's been 50c-$1.50 ever since then 🥲

  • +1

I now only buy sunscreen which won't put me off in using it, so many I bought from chemist/priceline/supermarkets are thick and horrible to use in particular on face, I now only use Japanese or Korean sunscreen as they are aesthetically much more pleasant to use and I will stick to using them.

    • +1

      They're chemical based versus physical

      • +3

Not necessarily. I use Canmake Mermaid skin gel uv sunscreen which is a mixture of chemical and physical filters, but also alcohol and fragrance free which is uncommon to find. It's the most comfortable sunscreen i've ever used and works exceptionally well under makeup, i'm also as white as a sheet of paper and have yet to be sunburnt while wearing it! not cheap considering the small size of the tube but worth it imo. I only use it on my face and neck however. My go-to body sunscreen is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Dry Touch because it doesn't have that gross sticky feeling. That one is chemical. In terms of efficiency it's never let me down either!

        • I'll give that a go next time. Thanks

  • +1

I never really go out in the sun for long, what's the easiest to apply? Thick sunscreen & hairy legs don't mix 😂

    • +2

At this price I would buy one of each and post here with feedback please :)

      • Expiry dates?

      • Clearly states this is as thick as it gets 😬

  • +8

just FYI, these are really thick to apply and don't really spread very well - I bought some in the last sale and will probably never use them

Neg for dishonesty from store representive, was advised in comment that could buy 1 of each at this price but can only buy 1 in total in actuallity. Anyone in a rush could pay full price.

    • +3

I bought the face and body and also the anti-acne ones both were discounted don't neg a deal because you couldn't figure out how to get it to work.

      • mate see many people tried the deal at 6 and many more min after and didnt work, just because you came after the problems were solved doesnt mean the problem didnt exist.

        • You'll see that I said it worked for me 4 minutes before you negged the deal. I was in early and it worked for me.

          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11603564/redir

          • @onetwothreefour: Sure but how many under you didnt work for them? many of us it didnt work at all so they probably had screwed up the deal somehow by either having a limit on it or something, because 1 or 2 can be a coincidence but 4 neg before i neg means a def screw up happened.

  • +6

buy one at a time and you will get the discount.

  • Code did not work.

  • +4

Wow. So many people are quick to neg!

Looks like there's an error/oversight with the Amazon store settings. The OP sounds legit, I'm sure they will sort it soon

    Patience my pets.
