Hi OzBargainers,

Allot happening in the wholesale pharmacy space at the moment, some brands have decided they want to do more business with us, some have decided we are damaging their brand by selling at reduced pricing online. All brands seem to be OOS at wholesaler level of many lines, deliveries to the pharmacy are taking in excess of 1 week (if we get anything at all ie RATs), all this mess is leading to extreme difficulty sourcing "bargains" for you guys.

One of the brands happy to welcome us back is Pharmacy Action, so I'm hoping we'll be able to post a few more deal from that brand in coming months.

      It was sold out earlier today if you were to buy the individual pack for $13.99.

      The two pack (100 x2) is $29.99 was in stock so i bought that instead. Doesn't makes sense but i guess they allocated their deals

        Efficacy changes? I did try hayfexo, was good the 1st week then seems to do nothing after that.

          It does indeed change. Not really a 'tolerance', but the effectiveness does reduce with ongoing use.

          I'll get a solid couple of days out of the Telfast type, and when that tapers off I'll swap to the Zyrtec instead for a while. Then swap back again.

          I've never got any effective results from loratadine personally, but otherwise that'd go into rotation as well.

          Aerius/Desonex, Telfast, Claratyne, Zyrtec and maybe some other nasal sprays you can all cycle through a box each if you have trouble finding one that fits. Note however, desloratadine (Desonex) is basically a 2nd gen Claratyne and in addition to being more expensive might not reset the cycle due to being chemically similar (having not tried it personally myself)

      They each have their strengths for different types of allergies and may be more or less effective from person to person.

      However, I’d avoid taking any medical or pharmaceutical advice from a comment on an OzB deal.

      I’ve found the ones that works for me after talking to a really good pharmacist who really knew their sh!t. Saved stuffing around.

      Don't get me started - I nearly couldn't run this offer tonight because I spent the whole day packing 1,000 boxes of panic buy paracetamol for non-ozb clients. Then I went to re-order more stock and nearly every wholesaler has sold out, so I think there will definitely be shortage on shelves of paracetmol for the next few weeks.

    Don't waste your money on mild hayfever tablets that do nothing. Sudafed, or Phenergan actually work so spend money on those.

      people are different I guess? I tried telfast, c-zine, loratadine and only the latter works for me

      so I buy it once a year in bulk from these guys and that's my allergy response

      Don't waste your money on hand soap, shampoo or toothpaste. Kitchen detergent actually cleans so spend money on that.

      It's a bit like the toilet paper shortages of 2020 - There is plenty around but if 10% of the population buy 5 years supply in 1 go - then we have a "shortage", and that's what occurring right now. Panamax is currently OOS at major wholesalers. Other brands are price jacking (at wholesale level) which will lead to price increases across the board shortly (makes that 69c CW Panamax deal on Ozb a few weeks ago look really good).

      Our wholesale buy price on most brands is $9-11 each - price jacking at wholesale level is occurring, and even then our orders from 23/12/2021 haven't been filled due to no stock. I've been buying for my staff based from Ozb deals - it's that bad.
