Logitech G560 LIGHTSYNC PC Gaming Speakers $215.20 + Free Delivery @ Shopping Express

70

I was looking for this model and came across a sale that is on for 2 more days.
Not the cheapest it's been but easily considered a decent sale when browsed against all other Australian retail/online stores.

It didn't say free delivery on the page but when I checked out it didn't add any cost.
I did get stung $1.50 for using a VISA debit card though.

You might be able to get Officeworks to pricematch too - https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/logitech-l…

Amazon starting to get ready to list this but $279. Like the lights on the speakers

I swear I got these speakers for 169$ a few years ago! Why did the price go up??

Edit: it was probably 159$ and this deal to prove it!

    • Its the covid factor, cost has increased probably to do with lack of shipping resources?

      • Supply contraints would be a factor and people working from home.
Logitech would have factored this in with their distributors so sale prices are less as demand covers it.

Being their first RGB focused speaker, they were probably testing the waters to see how they would sell.

$159 was indeed a crazy good price considering $350ish was always the RRP

I also just looked at pricing in USA and it seems to be going for $199 USD ($276 AUD approx)

So we don't have it too bad down here :)

    • Can't help but think that peripheral innovation has both stagnated and increased in price. I brought the Logitech X-540 5.1 for $108 back in 2007 and it's the only part from that time that I'm still using. For essentially the same functionality, prices are now double. At least this has RGB and bluetooth.

    These are pretty good

Thought they would’ve released a V2 of these by now, building upon the lightSync tech etc that draws buyers into the product. Surprised how long it’s held it’s market price. I enjoy mine now, but a year ago there were still a LOT of issues with volume/sub/non responsive lights. Firmware has fixed this now though, so should hopefully be headache free for any new buyers!

    • Thanks for the feedback mate, The reviews looked solid and I was looking for an RGB setup.
So it was this or Razer Nommo Chroma but pricing and reviews made me go Logitech

No problem. The reviews seem great on surface level, but I’d highly recommend you read the Logitech reddit forums on the G560, all past and present. This will give you a better understanding too, and shows more about the product that the mainstream reviews didn’t mention!

Still no industry wide lighting standard for keyboards and accessories is there? Its all proprietary which is a real shame.

    • LOL… at least it works well with G Hub/LGS/etc.

I recently sold mine though for like $120 because the cables weren't long enough on a standing desk.
