  • worth trying for nothing- thanks

I use insight timer on android.

      Insight Timer is awesome.

I used it this year. I recon it is pretty great, there is heaps of different meditations. I would pay money for it.

  • Any other Android recommendations?

Smiling Mind. Awesome and free, apps for iOS/Android. I have Balance and Smiling Mind and both are very good but Smiling Mind gets bonus point for being free obviously.

If you want a relaxation/meditation app that is something more than audio, I've been telling people about this trippy app I love called lumente it uses sound and the LED on your phone to send you on a journey. It's cool as heck IMHO.

Do you mean Lumenate, @Flyerone ?

        • Yeah, thanks. Too late to fix the spelling

      • I'm happy to pay if it means no ads. I can stand ads popping up so would negate all the calm the app is meant to bring!

      • Have you tried/does it work with led glasses?

If you are after an awesome meditation app that will always be free, try Medito - https://meditofoundation.org/medito-app which is available for iOS & Android.

    • Check out Insight Timer too. Free and with plentiful of content!

This trial has saved our lives in the last year. It gives you access to a lot of content. It is far, far better than the Headspace free version as you get full functionality and it eases you into the habit with their set Plans by slowly setting the foundations of your meditation practice. It's the first time people in our household have been able to keep their meditations regular. I'd pay money for it after the trial period if only to support the devs. Black Friday deals got this down to around +/- $150? It's now discounted 64% at $195.99. In my mind, the trial year alone makes it worth it.

    • I recently reinstalled headspace and there is not a single free meditation on there any more! Everything is locked. So sad.

Used to enjoy the free Take 10 / Basics

  • Same deal for the android app too

  • It's actually a decent app and great that they give you 12 months free, just be careful to cancel before it renews

    • Can you cancel it now and keep the remaining 12 months subscription?

      • yes you can (on ios anyway).

        • also android

  • I've tried a few options over the years but always end up going back to Meditation Oasis which I've been listening to for many years now. You can find a lot of those in the podcast section.

stress levels rising as the android link doesnt open

  • Couldn’t work out how to actually activate the 1 year after I downloaded the app, only see option to get a lifetime sub, anyone get it?

  • +1

Downloaded the app last year when they were running the same offer. Really enjoyed the daily meditations and I’ve even done some with earphones in on the beach which was incredibly blissful.

  • Think you may need a new account to get this offer?

  • This is better than calm and insight timer, have been using it for three months and love it!

  • says it works on some of my devices but the install button is disabled. Weird.

Will I have to eat a lot of curry and fart for this to be effective?

  • Thanks Op, will give it a go.

  • Still works
