    DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!

I have this phone and it does not detect phone numbers properly.

ie. If you save a contact in 04XX XXX XXX format, when you receive a SMS it displays the number as +61 4XX XXX XXX and not the name you saved. So to have the SMS display the contact name you will need to save the same number twice in the 2 different formats.

    • U may try ur case on other cellphones and will find the same~

What? No. None of my previous phones did this.

        • Well, I don't know, but based on my experience using Nokia E71, it does have the same problem, and my friends have also talked about the same issue u described.

    • This is not a specific phone problem. It occurs when you have two names with the same number. Phones, whether it is this brand or others, will not be able to recognise what name when that record shows up on sms or a miss call. This is why the number is displayed instead.

  • Add an 8G micro-SDHC card, and you have a really cheap high-capacity MP3 player, for under $40. With a (low resolution) camera thrown in for free. Will probably work without a SIM card, most phones I've tried will. Great to keep teenage kids occupied during holidays.

    • would teens really go for this type of phone? I would have thought without facebook, twitter, etc they wouldn't look at it twice.
